It kills me how clueless they are when it comes to kitchen tools and cooking.
I know that's not everyones skill set, and theirs in clearly organizing.
but basic cooking is a basic skills, and being knowledgeable about how to USE a kitchen would help them understand the spaces more I think

Her son's allergies must be less sever then some to be able to eat foods that are still processed on the same equipment so I'm super happy for him for that. But oh my goodness, our son has a severe peanut allergy and we do not even allow food that are processed in the same facility because I don't want to chance his life. We've had to give him an epi pen before and rush him to the hospital a couple of other times and there's no way in hell we are even going to chance it. Crazy to me. But as a fellow allergy mom/wife (hubby can't have milk), I have empathy for how hard it is to find foods that work for everyone.

Lol why do I feel like I need to defend Clea? She is a boss mom who is on national TV because she's handling her business where she makes enough money to afford a nanny who is also her employee ( paid in 2 different categories). I'm sure she had mom guilt for not being able to do add many things as regular moms so she finds humor in it. Plus, maybe for the jokes are for entertainment also. Most importantly I know she's installing in her kids how to hustle. So I'll give her a round of applause for that👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I get that having a highly allergic kid is scary but at 9, it's a good time to help empower him to know how to read labels and figure out how to eat safely

Two of our three children have food allergies. One has multiple and the peanut and tree nut ones are airborne sensitive meaning we can not eat, have or use (like hair and body items) any products containing these or oils of these. I guess you get used to cooking and managing these nutritional obstacles. However, it gave me an interesting perspective to see how much you “freaked” out and cared while organizing the family’s pantry and refrigerator. Good job checking in and asking questions because all food allergies and reactions from exposure are not the same.
Edit: Clea keep practicing your cooking skills. We all have to start somewhere😉
For The Home Edit Team, I tape the ingredient list that includes any allergens on the back on bottom of a container if it is removed from the packaging. Some things don’t stay as fresh in their original packaging. Our family knows where to look.

I always find Home Edit videos soothing because I love organization but the idea of someone who doesn’t know how to cook baffles me. The only thing I can think is that they have enough privilege so that they don’t need to cook (whether that’s family who cooks or enough money to get takeout all the time). You’ve never touched raw meat? You’ve never seen bacon frying? And yet I know so many people like this.

I try to watch things on RUclips that leave me with positive vibes, but I don't feel that watching this channel. Life,,the bacon cooking was ridiculous. Also, if it is life and death matter of my child, I would never leave those decisions for someone else to decide,,I thought the fact that they had to continuously call the mom was nuts. I understand wanting the organization to be done, but you don't leave such important decisions for someone else to bear.
