I shop for bulk at Sams and have found that the containers used for the candy and nuts work great for things like popcorn, choco chips, beans and noodles. If you buy over time you will eventually have multiple containers that match. Best thing is they are free because you are recycling.

Hi hon ! I wanted to drop by and tell you that this video showed up in my recommended. I am SO glad it did! I moved in with my now husband almost two years ago. I moved across the country from a home I lived in for 25 years. All of a sudden I felt so lost because my husband has lived here for nearly as long as I did in my previous home. He had spaces for everything in this home. I found myself trying to carve out bits and pieces of space around the house for my well everything. I recently had enough and have been on this serious organization kick to finally make things make sense. THANK YOU for this video and for mentioning the Netflix show. I’D LOVE MORE VIDEOS ABOUT HOME ORGANIZATION. ESPECIALLY things like unconventional storage like your clear candy box turned craft tray. I am a total repurpose queen. I use the plastic gum containers as headphone storage for the purse. I buy tissues based on what designs I like because I store things in them on my shelf. Anyway LOVE The video and plan on watching ALL OF THEM. GOD BLESS.

I also wanted to mention that you can get a bike pulley for pretty cheap on Amazon, we started doing that because we were using the wall racks but then it was way too crowded to get our cars in there, so putting the bikes up on the ceiling really got them out of the way. However if kids use their bikes all of the time and too young to work the pulley it may be better to keep them on wall racks. When we got them our kids were old enough to use the pulleys and now they are all married and out of the house so we just have my hubs' bike up on a pulley.

I think by looking at only Amazon you may have missed out on some bargains. First, I would always look at your dollar store. Yes, sometimes things are flimsier or maybe not the color you want (spray paint, although more work), but I have found some very sturdy items there too. Also, include Walmart and Target (both have free shipping if you spend $35) and maybe even a Hobby Lobby or Michael's especially for baskets.
Personally, one of the things that bothers me the most is people who over organize their kitchens. I don't want to have to take everything I buy out of the box and put it in a container. Then what happens when you buy more? Now you have to wait til you use all the old before you add in the new and where does that get stored? Plus, after a while, you have to wash that container and make sure it's fully dry before you add in dry ingredients. I just see that as wanting the pantry to look pretty, but not actually being practical. I just want things to have a place so that I can find it easily while being adaptable for when I might find something on sale and have multiples. That's just me though.

Yes I agree! I live three hours away from the nearest Costco. I’m not putting everything in Containers. I buy lots because I don’t go often.

Thank you so much for taking the time to research this! I’m so obsessed with the Home Edit but I was struggling to find budget-friendly dupes. Thank you!!

I think you just solved my lego organization problem! I was trying to find shallow stackable trays, but was having no luck. The paper containers look like a pain for paper, but would actually be perfect for containing legos and letting you sort through them without dumping them!

Ohh that's a great idea!! That would be perfect for sorting by color or size. 🤩

Great tips! I actually did the same thing...shopped Amazon and went to Homegoods/TJ Maxx for all my acrylic containers!

Love this video...I have the same love for the Home Edit show. I found a lot of the clear acrylic bins that are similar to what they used in the pantry and fridge at Marshall’s for 2.99/3.99 and sets for 9.99 and 12.99.

This is a great video! I was gonna say that those hyacinth baskets can be found (if you’re lucky) at tjmaxx or home goods. The only problem is trying to find a bunch of the same ones. Anywho, I love this and I’m about to go back and watch it again just to screenshot all the ones I want that you found dupes on Amazon! Thank you!!!❤️

I had forgotten about TJ Maxx when I was doing the Amazon research; thankfully I saw the baskets while I was there and grabbed some footage 😅 Definitely good deals! 😁
