- This is part two of the series we started early summer, where Jason from Mount Baker Mining and Metals @mbmmllc came to Canada to my Midway Gold Mine to take some samples of gold ore. Now we are down in the USA at his shop to test the gold ore and see how rich this gold mine might be?

#goldpanning #thefinders #findinggold
Part two, the Smelting and results, will be released tomorrow morning at 7:15 for my regular Sunday morning premier.
Don't do that again.
Sweeeeeeeet
Always love the variety, Dan! Your teaching skills are epic and I feel like one of your students, despite being in my 40s.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could teach me needlepoint while juggling porcupines.
✌️😎🇺🇲
Alarm clock is set
HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING
gonna make us wait???? could be a great time to try making a #shorts
Thanks Dan!!! Great video and thank you so much for coming down for a visit! I am looking forward to part two. You are welcome back any time my friend! Maybe we should get together for some more mining and testing in the future???
Can't wait!
Luar biasa
I subbed to your channel mbmmllc gret vids there to keep me occupied for a while lol
I like that idea.
You both make a great team! You mesh well together on these collabs! Plus it’s super interesting to see the entire process from prospecting to smelting all in one video!
Thanks!
Jason is a natural on camera. Great content.
Jason is such a great guy! Been following him almost as long as Dan. Its so great seeing youtubers getting together!
My favorite episodes are with you breaking down the rocks and finding the gold. Hi Jason!
been waiting on this vid for a fat minute! much love dan and jason!
LOVE seeing that you did a Collab with MBMM. I watch him too and was happy to see this.
Jason definitely has all of the good equipment. I can’t wait to see part two! 👍👍👍
Coming soon!
Man, you and Jason are the best crossover team to hit the internet in years. I always learn something new from you guys.
I have loved these collaborations so much! Thanks for sharing a glimpse of these fascinating machines.
Smiling!
Enjoy you content sir.
Back in 1969 wife and I just two wet behind the ears kids just married living in NW Arkansas, both working but not making much money, took a huge risk and moved to Kansas City MO, where we lived the next 38 years. I got a job at a grain mill and elevator where they processed yellow corn into any size you wanted with different mills and screens to sift it throw. From course to fine flower. Don't know why it just dawned on me that the shaker tables with the screens were very similar to what your using for gold, just a bit larger and a lot more of them.
Two of my favorite channels! Learning so much and having fun too. Cheers guy's!
Jason is the man when it comes to processing and smelting ore looking forward to pert two and since it’s Sunday morning I’m off to watch the conclusion🤩 thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Two top-notch guys in this one! Thank you Dan and Jason! Always a pleasure to catch your vids and watching your journeys to get those metals and stones processed! Thanks guys! 🤙🏻
I like these colabs too, would love to see cody on here, and possibly the crystal collector at one of dans gem prospects.
Ahhhh...to be continued! I was so ready to see the smelting right now. Lol Jason's equipment is a beast! Looking forward to the next video.
Coming soon!
I won’t likely ever do a pan of gold, but you are pleasantly polite demeanor and excitement is satisfying to watch.
I really enjoy your enthusiasm. The scenery is great. And I am learning alot. I have mobility issues. So I probably won't ever get to those kind of places. But I am thankful you take me along with you. Wishing you continued good luck.
2 of my favorite RUclipsrs. What a collaboration
Those crushers are insane!!! Truly awesome equipment - watching the shaker table do its magic feels like a gold prospecting meditation 😁
Jason has a great channel, glad you two got together.
I love the collaborations between all of you guys! Keep it up!
Been watching the whole adventure and never a dull moment. Look forward to seeing the results in part two. Thanks for the great content!
Our pleasure!
I once heard a gold prospector say that the money isn’t in gold mining.. It’s in gold mining equipment 😂
Both Jason, and Dan are engaging to watch, i like watching the shaker table its memorizing!!! and cant wait for the next episode, thanks Guys
Yeah I just watched one of your videos it's about the agates and the burned-out area some people go to their job and drive a truck all day sit in a warehouse all day sit behind a desk but you you have the best workspace I've ever seen keep up to good work love you videos be safe
Great video Dan! I’m so glad you guys got together. Jason is really smart as well. I hope we can see more videos in the future with you guys. Thank you, thank you guys! 🍻👍👍
The lead out of the furnace is called a button, the ball from cupeling is the prill
Live how he still gets excited about the gold.
Nooooooooooo. Now I have definitely got to subscribe for the smelting process 😂
Wow. That equipment is so cool and the rhythmic sounds of the machines are strangely relaxing :)
Nice shaker table, about the size of the one my friend has. we would use the shaker table to run the black sand coming out of our sluice box to get the finer gold out.
Your living my dream. Thankyou for posting. I have been bed ridden for a year so I cannot go out exploring/ as I use to. Love the energy and how happy you Get about minerals
This was awesome to watch. It is sort of like watching people cutting wood with the chainsaw. I mean I really enjoyed it because it was kind of different to watch you know and wow wow I hope you get all the gold
Pretty exciting stuff going on here watching this heavy-duty equipment do its thing. Really looking forward to seeing how much gold there is in those samples. Great video coverage of the process.
That shaker table is amazing, I knew the process of sorting stuff by density was fairly simple but this machine is so beautifully simple its unreal. seems like a very well built and engineered piece of machinery.
If the gold content is high enough, Dan may end up the proud owner of a setup like this! Driving to the mine in a 4X4 Rolls Royce. 👍 😃
I’m a few days behind Dan but this was worthy of waiting for and watching.❤️very enjoyable video. Thank you
I work at an alfalfa plant as the lead sample tech, which is in charge of estimates before cleaning and purity after cleaning. I love watching these videos. It would be a dream job to do that with minerals. Great video guys!
@@junkman8742 lol!
Wow, great close up camera work. You should sell classes to other sites. Good balance for the sound. No weird extended effects. Great job.
Hello Dan and Jason, I have been watching your videos and I really like how you explain the rocks and what to
look for when searching for gold.I'm into it and I love it.
Nice series of collaborative work. Can't wait for the smelting.
A man after my own heart. The adventure is worth losing everything while gaining everything. Thank you for your awesome videos they have kept me sane as I tried to explain who I am and why I am. You could be my reflection. Thank you Lord for Dan. Amen
This man will forever be a legend!
You gentlemen work well together. Love the video(s).
That is some cool equipment!! The shaker table is a really cool too just watch work. Loved this video!
I just watched the episode, last night, where you went to the mine to collect ore and then I looked for the video to see if any gold was in it and i didn't see it BUT here it is when i wake up, very cool.
That blue/silvery sulphide on the leading edge is more likely arsenopyrite (SG 5.9-6.2) than molybdenite (SG 4.7). Moly has a lower density than pyrite (SG 4.8-5.0) and so would be behind it. With a higher density, arsenopyrite would be ahead on the table.
Dan,
I live in Ferndale,WA, about 15 minutes from the big manufacturing site.
I met Jason's Father and the crew but Jason was away.
What impressive equipment and what nice folks.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
i love videos where the two of you collaborate.
you should have a way to set it up so you dump it in the first machine which outputs to the second machine which feeds it to the table. less work.
Thanks for the video Tom Bombadyll
looking forward for part3 :D. Was fun. 😉
Thanks Dan. Your videos are very good. I really enjoy it.
hey Dan how would you say a Shaker table like that does compared to a nefco bowl from American miner?
Truly aMAZing machinery!!
Hard to believe you didn't have your little bottle out sucking up those bits of gold!! 🙂
Am I the ONLY one here who has NO IDEA how that shaker table is separating stuff.....?
Those specks are what I've been finding here in NJ in the glacial deposits. Along with large amounts of black sand. Some of the black sand is very heavy and looks like galena.
Makes me wonder if his table would be good for the black sand beach material at Cape Disappointment.
This was an awesome video! Thanks dan showing us your sweet setup!
Alarm clock is set
HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING
Nice setup and I hope it all works out for them. Keep up the great work and I will keep on watching
I wonder at what percentage of heavies that the table would be less effective at sorting things out. It seems like anything over 50% heavies would clog the system up quickly enough to become problematic - maybe there's a better way to ensure everything runs through cleanly. Other than slowing the intake down, of course.
Awesome video!!!!! Will definitely be watching the video tomorrow. As always, a great, entertaining, educational video. thank you.
I CAN'T wait for part two!!
Feels good to see you using the metric system , as you said it so much easier to work with it
A Dan Hurd weekend double..... Noice 😄🙏😄
So glad to see this :D was just watching videos from you 4 years ago :) was wondering if it was Sunday hahahaha
Part 2 sunday!
@@Danhurd Can't wait :)
Have you considered adding powdered alum to help the refining water drop particles! Would also make water recycle more cleanly.
Ron Popeil would be proud..."set it and forget it" lololololol
I was just looking for this update last night after i watched the first part LOL.
Thanks Dan!
So is the table tilted slightly? Wish we had gold in Wisconsin!
Great video.
My buddy and I visited a mining business in Sandy Oregon and a guy led us back to a room with one of those gigantic shaker sluices! He was going to seperate the dirt from what we thought was gold. He puts our bucket of material through, then he stopped the machine. He put a sample under a microscope and shook his head. What we thought was gold was mica. WE were newbs back then but that machine was impressive!!!
Dang, that jaw crusher is a BEAST! And I loved seeing that rim of blue sulfides, thanks for pointing that out!
Been watching you for quite a while now.
So very interesting! Thanks Dan!
Don't these normally go up on Sunday? It's always a nice surprise when we get an early upload. However I do like the consistency of a schedule in general. I know on Sunday while I'm opening up my store I will have a Dan Hurd video to watch and that's part of my routine now lol.
Part two will me on my normal sunday morning release.
So good, cheers Dan. Love as always brother
Hey Dan, I'm just wondering about your thoughts on test paning the number 3 concentrates.
Nice to see you guy's working together. Keep up the hard work!
He takes a number two after a big run. Cracking me up.
Jason is a really smart fella
To be continued
What a cliffhanger
Can't wait for tomorrow
Cheers boys
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Morning!
Fascinating process Dan!
Dan after y’all are done you should lay on the table and turn it on! 😂
Heck Yes!! Living my dream life!!!
Awesome video as always. I’m also a big fan of Jason’s. I’ve seen his video already and I can’t wait to see the outcome.
Hello to those who care, and have a good day!
Good morning!
Howdy! You have a good day too.
I’ve been waiting forever for this video I haven’t watched it yet but I love your vids and I hope you get all the gold 😁😁😁 keep it up Dan. you actually inspired me to go and try prospecting myself I’m fortunate enough to live in cali about 30 mins from the trinity river and I actually found some!!!!! Just keep up the great work you’re an inspiration to us all
I love the panning videos but these machines are awesome.
love the collab . . .👍👍💪💪💪❤️
Wish I had some some of this equipment!!! Entertaining as always Dan⛏🏴
Dan is this guys last name Payne by chance? He reminds me of a fella I know here on Vancouver island. Another great video! Thanks for all you do
Excellent video can't wait for the next one awesome content thank you for sharing five stars my friend
Thank you kindly
What screen sizes, break down through each process. Jaw, impact milling and the separations on the table. Do you have the weight you stared with? Is this high grade or a cross sampling?👍
Does the density of the water change if it dissolves soluble salts, would that change output ?
Two of my fav's. Good job
hey i like that intro music!! 🤟
