i believe i might have enough of my own rhubarb ready for my first crumble of the year, john. i'm giving up on strawberries this year. grubs ate the roots. that's the danger of growing in tubs. bloody vine weevils..............brian
I am hoping the raised bed I am growing them in will protect the strawberries from slugs and snails and that the it takes the vine weevils a while before they realise there are plants there. I hope you enjoy your crumble, don't forget the custard.
