I've been playing Buddy, focus and EXP share (in duo) and having a great time. I also run x speed instead of eject, it's just fun to run across the map at warp speed. The build is super good at seeking out enemy carries.
Phill, test my greninja/cinder build: crit emblems (6/6 brown/white obviously), scope, double stacking, x speed (or full heal or eject if you prefer, maybe x attack if you are paired with a healer). go for aggressive stacking early even if it kills you (unless you go jungle, then try to protect the team because they will be sad and the morale impact is worst than the actual lane losing). Farm every time you can, don't take bad battles if your team is taking, be egothistical, steal jungle farm if the enemy team allows it, with your mobility/aeos cookie you can get out easily, get kills if the enemy team is being aggressive for exp, try getting to lvl 14 or 15 before ray with 6 stacks and red buff..... im about 60%+ winrate for a couple seasons already using this strategy on most of my games (SoloQ).... although i do play on south america so idk if my compatriots are weaker or not compared to other regions. Also im chosing water shuriken for 90% of the games (double team or smoke screen both work great, if the enemy has a lot of point and click try double team to make them miss it), if the enemy has ~4 speedsters/attackers then go for surf, otherwise WS is great against tanks, zacian, mewtwo X/Y etc. If the enemy team has a lot of static targets of if they look goofy (i.e. stand still a lot lol) with cinder go for pyroball, otherwise blaze kick is great, specially against speedsters like dodrio, which is the biggest counter for attackers imo. Ninja is better most of the time because of WS heal, cinder may be better if it has heal support. You will miss the early game attack speed but that is easily compensated by getting to lvl 13+ (and/or having unite buff up), in fact, the scarf buff doesn't actually increase your attack speed at lvl 14 or 15 if you already have unite buff.... ive studied the attack speed spreadsheet from mathcord a lot.

I just want to say that i am terribly sorry. This literally never happens to me. I was on 4g on my phone, and my internet just randomly disappeared for like 15 min... Totally out of my hands. I was so happy to see that i got in a game with you, since i am a viewer of your videos and i was excited to play good. Sorry again man. Big fan of your content though, keep it up! ❤

5:27 Phil don't say that, I fucking can't stand Mewtwo Y! On the real tho, after being disappointed with my tsar games, I played one crustle game and it just seems so free and easier against Y.
if you are a mewtwo and dont do 80 k damage a game, pls dont pick him. let the ones who are decent with it do it pls. have had 4 games, in masters, where each did 50k or less. and teh rest of us carried them. now they think they are good with mewtwo and keep picking him lol
Disagree. Crustle is not good anymore, it is OP now. Not in relation to most other that are OP, but in relation to what it is supposed to be capable of: defending! Survival, interruption, CC. Now it is the same invincible DPS machine that outperformes most attackers. Another reason not to come back to the game
Yeah... Defender balance is pretty wack right now... Would have thought they'd be goalies/team-protectors with a heavy dose of map control but with the newer releases they've become more of a 'Heavy' All-Rounder.

What items and moveset you were using, if you don't mind me asking?

Crustles unite with buddy barrier give crustle 2.5× more than its health with the shield now its crazy
Always good seeing my old crustle play, the buffs are an added bonus
