  • In this video, Grammar Hero works out a practice test question that requires you to understand the Fundamental Counting Principle. This question should closely mirror what you should expect to see in the Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) subtest of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) as well as the Pre-screening internet-delivered Computer Adaptive Test (PiCAT). #grammarhero #ASVAB #AceTheASVAB #ASVABVersion #PiCAT #algebra #geometry #afqt #asvabexam #asvabtest #asvabmath #asvabmathknowledge #asvabmathprep #asvabtutoring #asvabmathhelp #arithmeticreasoning

I just realized when reading its directly asking for a number of "equal" units. So when you multiply 6 and 5 to get 30, you say oh... 30 is the only possible combination of sets for those 2, so the answer HAS to be multiplying all 3 together. Basically that thinking took like 3 seconds to register and i got D right away

Took me less than half a sec. Multiple choices do not test knowledge. 5 years in a gifted high school without the use of a calculator and only 3 multiple choice tests.
Once I did an IBM test. 60 questions. 45 minutes. I got 3 wrong while completing it in 34 minutes.
Multiple choice is the worst way to test anyone on knowledge.
