People like you should be fined for getting too excited for every freaking thing do you realize that this is a huge waste of time and money especially us tax dollars ?
@@FLORIDIANMILLIONAIRElol no, when it comes to tax, nasa gets about 0.03% of the budget every year, and space exploration benefits earth, GPS, EARTHCARE, and internet like starlink, all space.
The laser comms testing is an INCREDIBLE advance in technology for the DSN. I didn't even realise we were this close to executing that tech vs the standard radio waves. The media should've picked up on your mission way more than it has!
Was a dream holiday for me being at Kennedy and watching the launch 🚀 was amazing. Even meeting the people involved was amazing. Hello Lindy hope your well and wot a dream and looking forward to seeing what happens with the journey to 16 psyche
Nice impressive video, thanks JPL/NASA for your works/preparations. I ambition everything works out on this mission to psyche including laser communications that's being tested.
Interesting, this video inspires me to do research to get more information than the sound bites provide, especially the Electric Hall effect electric propulsion.
This mission made the Tight Beam Com Laser from the Expance a reality. And I love that it bothers me that SpaceX had to expend the center falcon booster for this mission.
I saw the article on Microsoft Start and the video link. I didn't know about this one. I guess Elon Musk's SpaceX will be interested in collaborating with you to mine this high value mineral or precious metals asteroid, because especially as it would be a profitable mission. It sounds like you have some very advanced new technology onboard the probe that should reveal all kinds of discoveries, and the flyby of Mars on its journey to the asteroid belt.
Maybe some day with some sort of nuclear rocket engine on it's surface, but it's orbit is mostly farther out than Mars, it would take a lot to bring it into Earth orbit. I think Psyche could be the ideal test run object for a manned Mars mission vehicle, given the lower Delta V requirements gives some margin for error, should something go wrong, assuming it's the same vehicle with the same amount of fuel it would need for Mars.
@@Quethecat garbage..this is useless knowledge that will only benefit those employed on this ridiculous project..the money would be better spent on feeding and housing our citizens in America!!!.❤️🇺🇲
Super excited to see the laser comm test. That'll improve the deep space network massively.

Fuel is everything to go on to goal 🥅

You guys do a good job articulating your enthusiasm.
Yes, but.. as a non-US-taxpayer I would like to hear details of the instruments.
You all do an amazing job not just in paving the way further for Human space exploration, but also giving hope for our future 🖖
Psyche was probably the remnant of a former planet smashed by an impact possibly an old former earth ✌️❤️🇬🇧
Super excited for the DSOC
Thank you for the amazing work, NASA.

So cool , im so proud of making research in everything jpl has made , i love itt
Hey can you tell me more about upcoming missions
@@Scientist-y2syes ofc , i think im gonna make a vid on them , stay tuned

How long to get there ??
Per the description of this video 2029.
Psyched for psyche
Those Space X rockets are something.
Super excited
great and super❤

Thank you.
Esperando con ansias el inicio de dicha Misión al asteroide 16-Psyche en el 2029.
I love it 😊🥰🤣
Nasa my first coment ❤
we have electric motors? in space? 🤯

Within an hour gang!
The frontier of humanity is in the hands of these select few individuals- per aspera ad astra
We need to move Psyche closer to the ground so that we have 2 satellites. Then you can study it to death:))

Rocket name:-??
it launched on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy.

When you going to put Ceres into orbit around Mars, eh?

Aeronautics and jets are not Astros or space.
Very Cool, but I checked everything in my house and nothing is made in outer space
If the labour rates go below China and India, everything will be next time you check.
Everything is made of space.
Wonder how many hundreds of billions of tax payers dollars they spent on this 💩 , to tell us a asteroid is made of iron!!!.🤣🤣
Look it up. While you are at it, notice which wealthy citizens paid no taxes.
