They would probably do Origin if they do something similar. And its questionable if the dev team will do a game like this thas a remake of V. They are always working on 2 games.

This is a remaster of Ys Oath in Felghana, which is a remake of Ys III Wanderers from Ys. It's an older title still, one of the hardest games in the series with one of the best soundtracks, boss designs, and gameplay in general.
Somethings to note A: this is one of the shorter Ys titles (around 8 to 12 hours depending on difficulty and player skill) B: Solo adventure. Adol and only Adol. None of the part combat seen in Ys 7 8 9 or celceta, nor the duo combat of 10 C: This game has side quests, but they're not signposted like in modern Ys games. You'll need to pay attention to what villagers say in order to compete them. Every villager In the main hub town has one. (And the main hub town is the only town) D: There are no healing items outside monster drops. (You basically need to beat every boss on a single bar of health)
Hope this comes to pc soon. Edit: And before you ask, yes, I know the og version is on pc. But I think everyone would love the qol adjustments. If not this, then maybe as a mod.

Yeah but you dont see people carrying around vitas, people play on a switch if they want handheld nowadays. This was kinda necessary for anybody new to play it (like me)
If you loved Origins you're gonna drool on Ys III The Oath in Felghana. Its more of an adventure rather than a huge dungeon. Its one of the best Ys in the series ( to some it is the best ) Oh and it has the best soundtrack of all Ys games with 8 really not far behind though. Highly recommend it.
This is getting special treatment. One game at a time. Falcom has their hands full with Trails and always with the next Ys game. Suprised they even bothered with this.
@MaI2Me that's a fair point since post ps5 exclusive games are either mediocre to straight-up garbage. But my point is that they need to stop supporting the ps4 eventually and just focus on ps5 so there will be a reason to upgrade

I wish they had updated the 2D sprites. It's just doesn't blend well with the 3D backgrounds. Wish this had remade the characters, or even the entire game, in the style of Memories of Celceta.

Yes,you have to grind for a while. Gaining 3 or 4 levels make a difference. Level up your gear as well.

This one is VERY hard as well. I didn't have much issues with Origin. This one, however, is pretty difficult.
