Great timing for this video. Scottish watches were talking about this. And if honest, no one else. Seeing this review blew me away. Never knew mont blanc did watches and think this watch will increase their reach. This diver is a stunner but also delivers. Wow, just wow.

On the wrist: MoonSwatch Mission to Mercury, which I picked up on Friday when I happened to stop by the Swatch store and they had just gotten another shipment in. As far as the Montblanc, I think it's a solid first entry. I am not a date hater, but think this would be a good candidate for a no date with the numerals on the dial. If it needs a date, then I do agree about 6 o'clock being better due to symmetry. I have the same issue with the Longines Hydroconquest. A 3 o'clock date bothers me less when there are no numerals on the dial. The glacier effect is very cool.
Great video, can't say I have really considered Montblanc before but this looks intriguing. When it comes to Breguet, I'm a sucker for the classical styles, so it would have to be the Classique 7147 with the white enamel dial for me. And as you asked, I'm watching this video while wearing my IWC Pilots Chronograph 41 in blue.
Good review, however a weight to weight comparison on the same strap/with no strap would be more helpful. On the Breguet: Type XXI 3815
Great and in depth review! I saw it in a store the other day and was immediately intrigued. While it's certainly not as well built as a seamaster, ( bezel action has a lot of back play and the movement is standard eta) it really has some great aspects. The bracelet is awesome and at least on par with omega, like you said, and the dial is on par if not better than most grand Seikos, in my opinion.
Montblanc watches to me is still the TimeWalkers and Nicolas Cage ads and the Nicolas Rieussec.

Great review as always Harrison. Thanks. In my opinion the dial and the colours set this diver apart. I imagine the green would be gorgeous. Not to punshy just right. As I do not have any experience with Montblanc, the details about the bracelet are important to me. Overall it seams to be a very nice and unique watch with the only downside of the rather simple movement.
Breguet - my favourite one is the Type XX Aeronavale, love this Chrono!
I love Montblanc's dress watch selection and their classy designs. I'm the minority of preferring dress watches over sports watches.

The taper on the bracelet makes the watch for me. Add quick switch and micro adjusting clasp... done deal.
Gosh i love your take on this watch. My thoughs exactly on the Geosphere as well as the Iced Sea, Montblanc at large, but i went with the green one hehe.
Hmmmm. This is Oris Aquis Cal 400 territory. It’s a nice enough watch but the SW200-1 based movement is rather poor even at this price range. 38 hour power reserve? I couldn’t live with that. Aquis all day long. Or maybe save up for a few more months and pick up an Omega Seamaster on the grey market on the rubber. Even better.
Wrist check, I’m wearing my Omega Seamaster 300m Chronograph (grey dial, 9900 cal). A absolute beast of a watch. Love it!
Couldn't agree more. For the price it really needs a better movement. I was dead set on the GMT in the 1858 collection but the movement seriously doesn't justify the price tag. At least use the SW330-2 rather than the SW330-1.
My favourite breguet will be breguet classique 5907 35mm, love the power reserve on the back. Is it just me? or you kinda look like Pierre Gasly the f1 driver.

As far as the Breget range is concerned I love the simple look of the Classique 7147 white gold with the white dial😍

Bro, you need to get Chisholm Hunter to bonus you a watch. A). Because no doubt it’s deserved for the international name recognition you give them and sales that you drive, and B) Everyone loves to see your Omega Seamaster, BUT…we see it every video, and every single watch is compared to the Omega Seamaster. Let’s throw in another point of reference, and have Chisholm Hunter hook you up with that reference point. I have bonused my employees watches for much less. You deserve it, the audience wants to see it, and it will help Chisholm Hunter sell even more watches than they would otherwise. It wouldn’t be an expense for them; it would be an investment. 😊👍

I would prefer the Omega seamaster 300 white dial instead. The dial on the Montblanc is an interesting concept with the ice look but it kinda bothers me thinking it looks like a smudge and need to wipe it off 😳.
Yeh I agree the bracelet is better than the Omega seamaster but overall Omega is the keeper 👌
But if buying a pen defo go for the Montblanc brand with its iconic history very presidential 👍
Mont Blanc is one of my favourite brands I’ve bought wallets belts bags but never a watch, I’m going to try it on when I’m next on the splurge

I tried it on twice now. The dial looks stunning in person. But I am still not sure if I should buy it because of the movement.
I know its a Sw200, but still keeps good time and the finish, looks, and bracelet glide lock and easy strap removal wins for me.

As always,unless it’s Rolex or Tudor releasing a new model, there will be a lot of negativity which always (and really always) circles around topics such as manufacture movement, power reserve, and cosc certification, typically mostly from people who have never seen this watch in real. 1) mine is very accurate, i didnt measure but first days are very good. Not the only thing. Each montblanc watch undergoes a 500 hour test. 2) power reserve - are you basing a thousands of dollars spending decision in whether a watch has 38 or 60 hours reserve? 3) manufacture movement. Please. This silly drive towards manufacture movements has unnecessarily driven prices for luxury watches upwards, resulting in a lose lose for all consumers. I couldnt care less about this. Buy (and sell 12 months later) a watch based on a checklist.

Wearing PRX Quartz in blue, go to work watch at the moment. Not sure if still have hats to giveaway, but I’d probably go for a Breguet Classique “Hora Mundi” as it’s completely different to anything else I have.

What I noticed and did not liked, the power reserve.. only 38h? Its disapointing paying 3k€ and dont get at least 3 days of reserve. But watch looks increadible good.
Power reserved should not be an issue if it has more than 24hrs
I've been using my superb Mont Blanc pen for many years, bought a wallet once and a couple of their men's fragrances. They do some stylish and very fine timepieces, but have never plumped for any. I'm not sold on this Iced Sea sport watch either. Good detailing, some nice unique touches but naff logo and poor power reserve.

I went into a Mont Blanc watch store in Las Vegas and was really underwhelmed by the watches. I really was looking for a TimeWalker and a few other watches. I came away disappointed by the boring selection, and lack of any of the more common Mont Blanc models.
I loved the watch in person but Montblanc has really shitty ADs here where I am, they wanted a 25% markup on the piece, which puts it in Tudor's territory, and Montblanc can't beat Tudor so... Guess I'm skipping this watch, and getting another Tudor for my birthday.
Just a little research and you would have found multiple Montblanc sport/dive watches. Including a GMT and Chronograph versions. Also, while I appreciate the quality of your video, it is just too Bark & Jack...

My favourite Breguet would be the timeless Classique. A very understated watch, loud only in its superior quality and the loving craftsmanship of its makers. I really hope to win one of those beautiful hats! Lovely video! I have always disliked these Submariner-style divers because usually they try quite hard to appeal to the Submariner crowd but this watch it its own thing entirely. I love the depth of the dial. I have been a huge Montblanc fan ever since I was 15 and my first boss back then had a couple of pens.

You didn't give the lug to lug length. This is the info that appears missing in any commentary around this watch for some reason.
Also, I appreciate your review but in offering some honest feedback, you sound so much (apart from the accent of course) like Adrian from Bark and Jack. The cadence of your voice, the phrases used, intonation etc is so similar it's bizarre.
