Only 4 months in boxing what do you expect guys like a pro? Of course he need to do more in practice and more fights to make it better... I saw the power of Emmanuel i think if there is no head gear there's a knock out in the first round i think he need to improve his stamina is not easy to make a power punch while your body and your opponent are moving when he throw a punch wow so powerful but he need a little adjusment to land the punch perfectly... to Carson he need to improve his head movement and more power need to his punch stamina need to improve also cause their look tired foot work need more to improve cause everytime he move Emmanuel got a good shot on him... The match is good i gave the score 109-115 in favor to Emmanuel! But Carson and Emmanuel nice try kids that is not the last it just the begging both of you have talent in boxing just keep on moving guys congrats to both of you! and of course the winner Emmanuel keep up the good punch motivation is the key to improve your stamina.

That was cool. Great to see you still doing combat sports Lucas! Getting better every time. Experience like this is invaluable. You kept your composure and stayed technical when he came out wild in the first round. That’s good. That’s really good to build on. You got a couple of good check hooks in there- keep drilling that. Great strategy when the other guy leads with his right like that.

Ramsey Dewey thanks for the great comments which will mean the world to Lucas. I think you could see that Lucas is still stuck in sparring mode, lacked aggression and power out of the gate. Also backed off of several opportunities to put together barrages, but he got going and I am super proud of him. Toughness and determination and a great kid too. I think after this first fight he will have a lot to build on.
Thank you Bro. Dewey for watching my fight. It was a crazy one, on the first round I didn’t expect him to go FULL ON, I was a little nervous. Then by the second round he was really tired, tho I was a little tired too. And then sadly the third round was cancelled due to some gosh knows what reason

If the basis is the two rounds, Pacquiao Jr. should have won, because round 1 scored 10-8 because of the knock down, 2nd round 10-9 and it can go either your way or him depends on how the judges saw it, for me it was close, I give it Pacquiao Jr., but even if I give you the secound round, you still lost because of the knock down. But if they would consider him quitting because he can't continue on round 3, you should be winner because it is a TKO. I think you should have won this one via TKO but I don't know what are the rules you played in there.

So the fact that you were able to weather that storm without a hitch and stay composed and technical throughout the match was impressive. I've got a book recommendation for you: "Championship Fighting: Explosive Punching and Aggressive Defense" by Jack Dempsey. It's one of the best books on fighting ever written regardless of style, and one of the best boxing manuals ever published. If you want to bring your boxing game beyond the next level, study that book. It's public domain, so you can download the PDF online for free, or buy a hard copy on amazon for five or six dollars. If I could time travel to give my younger self advice on fighting, that would be it. Man, if you can do backflips like that, you'll definitely learn to translate that power into your combative movements after you study Dempsey's book.

I've read some comments for some people who watched the video. My only comment is that, for the both fighters, you guys did a very good job in training and also in your real match! For me, no matter who your father is, you would still be different. Its your choice to step up the game. Curiousity will lead to hunger, hunger will lead to acheiving your goals! Learn from your mistakes and enhance more of what you have!

So Pacquiao Jr. is more like a Power-type boxer than Speed-type. Sinabi sakin ng katrabaho kong boxer, may kabagalan ang galaw ng Power-type pero tagos hanggang buto ang sakit pag tumama sa katawan ng katunggali.
He missing is the fundamental he not using he jab or fainting his way in but he need a great trainer and a lot hard work dedication cause he already a late started and don’t have the pacquio speed
Pac jr doesn’t throw jabs and straights. Mostly hay makers which will make him tire fast. I saw the power in his punches, and with a lil bit of training he can use it better in great timing. they’re clearly both gassed out after the second round, so continuing the fight would have shown a couple of walkers and huggers lol. We need to see a rematch but they should train more too so fans will see a much better fight with more action. Congrats to both of them though

Lets be real, this pretty much ended like the Pacquiao v Dela Hoya fight albeit for a different reason. Emmanuel gave up after the second because he was too tired, Lucas won.
No big deal, not taking anything away from Emmanuel, this was probably his first ever boxing match outside of training and if he is as passionate about boxing as his dad says he is then this loss may have been the fire under his ass that he needed to really excel at it.

Great fight.. nice job Carson and Pacquiao.. for me its a draw even it goes to round 3 (if it is a legitimate KO in the first). Pacquiao have power but stamina was the issue but nice job for his 1st time.. for the rematch, key point for Pacquiao was to improve stamina and to Carson was to do more counter and head movement.. but I really want carson or pacquiao to fight Montes.. ;) God bless Pacquiao and Carson

Power is always there. Pacquiao's always hit Carson some power punches that made his stamina goes down. Every boxer knows that the power punch is very hard to do because of the stamina they have. I think the problem of Pacquiao is his aggressiveness when it comes to the power punch.

So many people predicted you’d be knower out in the first round. He clearly won the first round but you kept it going and I think the second round you gained momentum. I would have loved seeing the third round, which mysteriously never happened. It looked like you were the one most ready to answer the bell. Hopefully you learned from the fight. You weren’t ready for the opening aggression of your app on any and when you had Him a few times you seemingly played nice guy and were happy with a one punch combo. You did display a lot of toughness-and you made good contact on some punches. You were the only fighter with a left hand and a jab. Proud of you both for your grit and sportsmanship. Lots to learn and if you keep at it you’ll only get better and better.

Hes different to his father but we cant tell what may happen to him in future besides hes the son of manny. Even though his father didnt support him, yet to become a boxer becuase his father dont want to experience how hard to become a great boxer you will be needed to take much pain. Maybe one day when manny retired in his boxing career and probably his father will become his own personal trainer and he will inherit the skills of his father. You've got discipline and patience. That's a good thing. Make excellent of that patience and adapt spontaneous combos, and switch in between counter punches. Feign more too.
You're both on the right path.
Stay humble as you are, and keep focused. Being humble pays a lot especially when you measure counters towards a stronger opponent. Use your opponent's force to throw him off and counter several. A solid stance and quick feet to switch and retreat when the spring reloads. Everyone throws a punch, but they will always have to pull their fists back. And with that comes motion, space, weight, and momentum.

Mark my words, Pacquiao Jr. will end up like Chavez Jr. (for all the clueless Pinoys, I'm referring to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.). Rich kids have no business pursuing a career in professional boxing. They don't know what it's like to fight as if your life depends on it. They were always at the top. Just stop, Pacquiao Jr..
