The industry's demand for "club bangers" destroyed Hip Hop. Then Stripper Hop appeared and finished them off. I believe they slowed the BPM/tempos, because music is more entraining at that tempo. Now we got Whole generations highly sexualized with short attention spans. The Underground still exists, you just gotta dig harder for it.
