Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

The direction the mortar balls bounce is not dependant on where they land or at what angle. It is 100% random. If you look, you can see a mortar landing at a perfect angle for a shot, and it instead decides to go parallel with the ground, backwards.
@@dicerson9976 It might be random, but it doesn't bounce back into the ground, so shooting at a slope facing you is more likely to cause a rebound
It was kinda painful to watch that, I was glad when the nukes took them out lol
He did more damage to himself and teammate than the enemy team
There's absolutely no reason not to send this garbage as far as possible in hopes it doesn't bounce back, unless you are pissing against the wind and your best shots are hitting 40° slope and mostly coming back your way... And when he rebuilt them in exactly the same place ... well... yeah...
You should start purposely throwing cosmetic design flaws into your bases to throw ppl off from guessing which base is yours.

I have never played forts, have no desire to play forts. I've watched you play forts for aproximately 200 hours though, and I don't know why but it's so enjoyable.
Same, I tend to watch his Forts vids before bed, they're oddly relaxing
Without fail, when Incursus comments on an allies horrendous build, and it inevitably collapses, you'll always see them type 'wtf' or a derivative thereof.

I feel like those drones might just need a little tiny bit of a nerf hammer to the everything. They reload too fast, do too much damage and are too hard to counter.
Or you just counter them completely with SAM launchers.
Agreed, the rate of fire seems a bit too fast.

Incursus:only a little bit stressed.
Bounces are random, but the angle still matters. The angle determines the range of possible random direction mortars go.
This channel is underrated, not many people can see how good your channel is, that's sad, ima help get the word out by telling a bunch of people.

@@Stafarns i never played forts but i love watching his forte gameplay. I think he's a very good narrator and doesn't annoyingly scream around like most gamers out there.

The blast radius on those incendiary drone bombs MIGHT BE TOO LARGE.
Wow, the noise of those incoming drones is terrifying.
It'd be interesting with a map were both teams has one fort on each side of the map:
Lets say; On the left side of the map, team 1 has a fort, and team 2 has a fort too, except it's placed lower. Now, on the right side of the map, team 2 has the higher placed fort and team 1 has the lower placed one. This would be very interesting with Tanya's since friendly fire would be extremely high.
Also, a door that opens slowly and closes QUICKLY would be cool. Aswell as a reversive one whom opens quickly but closes SLOWLY.
Put 2 of those doors back to back for maximum protection duration
Those mortars would be devastating if the had a greater range and could be fired between the enemies.

What if you tilt the bouncy mortars forward a bit, that way the angle is more foward
nope, the perfect angle for the furthest shoot being 45 degrees, they definitely need a range buff
As he said in the video, the angle of the bounce is completely random, it doesn't model real physics at all (e.g. you could bounce them on a forward slope with as low as angle as possible and about half will still bounce back toward you, no different than flat ground).
So the only thing the angle affects is distance, and you want them as far away from you as possible so you shoot at 45 degrees..

the bouncy mortar locks like crap, i love mortar spam to. it is fun with the fire commander and 6-12 mortars surpress most aa without sniper support :)...would love to see more mortar stuff, mortar spam vs the world!

Sliding the power above the 100% does not increase the power. It's a deadzone.

Absolutely marvellous the video, i enjoyed it. Those bouncy mortars are fun indeed. Fucking around on a whole new level. Sorry I'm dying here. Thx to you i found this pearl of a game. If i had the time i would be playing it.

@@prophet3752 that's praising him of course. Or i wouldn't be watching his videos all the time. At least he is showing his fails. That shows me, that he is a normal down to earth person. And not a (selfish) unicum that only shows how good he is at the game. And he doesn't think he is superior. He shows us the good (being happy) and the bad (being angry). That which everyone is having/can relay too. Even though I'm not playing this particular game. Just amazing content isn't it.

Worbital Beta closed a while ago. Current release date is around the start of 2019. That said, they haven't completely dismissed the idea of a third beta. We'll have to wait and see

Why don't you ever bother using chat? You complain about your teammates doing stupid shit, but you never ask them to stop.
With the exception of some of these videos, I'm very often on voice comms. My teammates can usually hear me, they just don't know how to or don't want to stop. That's why a lot of times you'll see them reply in text form.
If it's really important, I'll type it out too. But honestly, most of the things just aren't worth typing out. If a player is blocking their own turbines, it's usually because they don't know that wind can be blocked. If they get hit by a laser and don't build shields, it's usually because they don't know how shields work. If they reflect a laser into a teammate's base, it's usually because they don't know how angles work. I can't give them a whole tutorial while mid match, so telling them to stop doing something they don't understand just doesn't help anything.

at least on this map. imagine the bounce on a flat, regular surface. it'll be much better and may not backfire so often.
