What about heat pump style heaters these should be the most affordable way to heat since the temperatures are above 30 when most people are trying to heat a pool.
Awesome. So for a 24 ft round living in Ontario Canada, what size heater would I need. 150 btu or higher, to start pool season earlier or extend the season .
I just installed a Raypak propane heater for my above ground pool , in the manual it says not to use a 20 pound propane bottle, could that be that the 20 pound bottles don't have a big enough BTU rating as the bigger bottles? Any idea what the smallest size propane tank/bottle would work for my application ? Thanks
Could you do a video on above ground solar reels? The biggest pain is handling the cover and a reel would be nice but I am hearing the reels are more problem than their worth. Thank You.
DO NOT BUY THE COILED SOLAR HEATER in any brand name. All brands lead back to one company that has discontinued most all the parts. All obsolete. I cannot get a $30 part and must trash my entire system. So bogus! Please check for parts availability before purchasing anything!
If he has to give tips on how a child can die for every piece of equipment the video would be 8 hours long. Of course you need to keep kids off it. Stupid.
We had a large rectangular pool growing up. My dad built a roller with a crank for the solar cover. It was super easy to roll it up and then back on.

great information!
I think it's time for you to update your vid on pool heaters, the volume on this one keeps cut'n out.
I heard you can use a portable water heater..they are using them with little to zero issues.
Where did the Intex solar mats go. 20 dollar, need 4-5 for a 25000 liter pool. Not too expensive, seems to work well.
Tankless water heater?

what about underground Pool Heaters.
Can you use both a solar blanket and a solar coil at the same time ?
If you wanted to yes you could
Does a solar cover work in the shade?
To some extent yes but not as well as in the Sun
What blanket would you recommend?
Just go with a heavier one
First 8 minutes it could be 2 minutes only

I'm not a real fan of them either because I believe they're a little more trouble than they're worth.
I heard the coil heaters are useless because they dont allow for water to heat...they push the water through continually.
put them on timer where it releases every 30 mins
Volume keeps going up and down (mostly up)
Good info but listen to it on 2x playback speed

You forget to say is dangerous if a kid is falling on that plastic blanket. He's gonna suffocate and die.
