The shiesty🤣 Regardless the thought of him not having a SP gauge since it’s saying “No Spirtual Power” might be that he gotta use his fusion meter and that may put a hard balance in his already broken OP kit
If monster form is playable they might just make another aizen that starts in butter fly form because I can’t see them adding another awakening to this character
I thought we were going to get 2 aizens at first, one version where you use his kyoka suigetsu for his awakening moveset and the second version use use the hogyoku transformations starting with his condom form as base but I was wrong. My only gripe with Aizen's character is that his shikai is used to cancel out a kikon move instead of actually casting illusions. But I love how they implemented every form into 1 character. and yes, I think we will be able to play as monster form Aizen becuase if you look at the website it says that his hogyoku fusion level has a maximum of 5 levels. And with his reawakening being his "hogyoku fourth fusion" that means we have 1 more fusion which would be his monster form. And Im assuming he transforms into that automatically after a certain period of time just like how he goes from base to condom form pre awakening.
They already gave him 4 different forms, what's a 5th? Lol. Since we can see the Hogyuku Fusion has 5 levels (and starts in 0) then I think it's a pretty safe bet that he can go into monster form after his reawakening. His first transformation is not an awakening, so it can just work like that. If that form is actually even needed because he is already going to be overpowered as fuck in level 4 is another question.
Yup I thought the EXACT same thing about having 2 aizen’s at first because of kyoka suigetsu as well but with them saying he starts with 0 reverse meter because of kyoka suigetsu I’m thinking that’s as close as we’ll get. Also there isn’t any mention of a 5th form on the website so I don’t think he has a playable 5th form, especially since to get his 4th form you already have to have everything maxed out and then die on top of it. If anything when it goes away and comes back when you awaken it would come back at level 4 and then be at level 5 when you reawaken, but I don’t think it works like that to begin with since they make the distinction between “level” and “form” multiple times.
The Hogyoku Fusion does continue to grow after his Reawakening if I read that correctly which makes me think that monster form might actually still be there.
Something I just noticed. It says that his "Fighting Spirit accumulates automatically." I think that means taking hits does not build that meter, unlike every other character.
Thanks very much for the shout-out, sir! I love theorizing about stuff like this, and it's always more fun to speculate alongside other people. Can't wait to see what Yama has in store, especially since they'll probably try to make him a bit more interesting than "look at something and it bursts into flames." Although that would also be on theme for him, so who knows.
Of course!! Always happy to shoutout great takes and happy to have you leaving them! Yamamoto is going to have something crazy going on with those flames I can just feel it
In a lot of fighting games, when someone puts armor on themselves. Hulk in MVC3, Potemkin in Guilty Gear (yes I know these aren't 1 to 1, it's early in the morning) engaging them is sometimes a way better option. You get more out of it. But you gotta do it smart and you gotta be aware of how their armor works. For potemkin, as an example, if you can break through it you get so much more than you'd ever have gotten if you just nervously blocked him.
@ right. But it’s not perfect either. Comparing it to Tremor from MKX or Gargos in Killer Instinct, if you’re tacking it the wrong way, or you wait too long to do anything about it? Challenging it might actually be the wrong move. Backing up and waiting for it to ware off might just be your only option. Otherwise he’s hitting you and you’re not doing anything.
This is kinda completely different though, since Aizen's SP1 drains his guard gauge until it is completely empty in the end. Basically to punish Aizen's SP1 you just need to stay away and poke him, so you can actually get in fast and punish with a kikon regardless of health once his guard gauge is drained. I don't think hitting him will drain the guard gauge faster and no Aizen player will block in this stage. So getting in you are just going to be hit by a combo no matter what you do. Yeah you'll get a couple of hits off, but you don't have hyper armor, so as soon as you get hit your combo will get broken and you'll end up losing more health than you dealt.
@@Dragonpuncher123 Right. That's why you gotta play smart around it. So there will be situations where just backing off is the play. But rarely is that ever the best option. It depends on how the match is going.
I’m wondering if the AOE pulse on his signature move has the ability to nullify projectiles and how long it’s range is🤔 if it does then poking him from a distance might be very difficult and you’d have to focus maybe more on throws/command grabs to get in and hurt/stop him
I think signature and spiritual pressure moves stay the same for every character pre and post awakening. I haven't seen any character demonstrating otherwise and thats why the signature and spiritual pressure moves are all very non specific regardless of character transformations: where all moves can be accessed in both states, such as grimmjow's "Garra de la Pantera" being what looks like part of his basic combo string instead of a post awakening spiritual pressure move. I could be wrong on this but I'm like 87.9% sure that it's the case.
That’s true! We’ve also never seen a character with A LOT of things Aizen has going on too. I wouldn’t surprised if the only thing that changes is his combo strings either though.
I think that is generally true, but their properties do seem to be able to change. We see that with Aizen's Hado 90 here and also ulquiorra Cero seems to change as he levels up.
@@leethewarlord I think it will be more like a better versions of the move. More damage, faster, better stun, cancels projectiles, etc. Like you are always doing the EX version after awakening.
Also, if we just take the nullification move sorta... at face value. I don't see what's stopping me from just hitting him with a weak one right after. He nullifies it, sure. But if he nullifies it he probably still at a combo that lead into it and if a Konpaku didn't get used up then his reishi probably didn't move either. So, that's definitely annoying, but nothing people who fought Tremor back in MKX can't handle.
I’ll have to watch some tremor gameplay but I honestly think the main plan fighting against Aizen will be “land the first kikkon ASAP” so he has one less layer on his onion so to say
@@NobodysCats His first form and he starts the game with 0 reverse gauge because kyoka suigetsu will nullify the first kikkon move he’s hit with, but that’s it. I was wondering how his deception stuff would work with his actual move set and if we might see his bankai, but it looks like they’re just going straight to Hueco Mundo Aizen
This is not true once he reaches lvl 2 he no longer has the soul hyogoku bar he will have a spiritual power bar instead once he gets to evolution he awakens once he awakens the soul hyogoku bar increases again from 2 after reaching evolution. From 2 u now have to get to 4. Once u get to 4 u can come back from the dead. 5 is still unknown.
@@dangreen5921 I can see that as well! Definitely not how the material reads to me. They’d need to give him a second reawakening for that to be the case, but I can very easily see that being part of the interpretation👍🏾
That’s also a good take considering the fact it stated there’s no SP for Aizen and he gotta have a way to do his SP moves: but he does obtain new properties. With Fusion Lvl 5 tho, could be just a dmg buff
