    Small world. I am from Logansport. I currently work on the grounds crew at Dykeman park. I also use the pro soft inserts after playing sensi core shafts for years.

    Thanks for the review Jim, I’ll have to order in some Prosoft and start offering it to my clients. Should be a great addition to the products I can offer my clients. Keep up the great work.

    What has worked out well for me when installing the Prosoft insert, is to use the actual forked tool they recommend to lead it in. I spray ever so little WD-40 inside the shaft first to help things move along.

    Thanks for the vid, Jim.
    I used to struggle with vibration in my Iron shafts (until) I switched to graphite several years ago, I can still remember the pain in your fingers on a cold morning when you thinned a 3 Iron!

    Thanks for the information. I used sensicore inserts for years. TrueTemper told me they were discontinuing the inserts when I contacted their customer service. They were certainly easier to install

    i thought about putting foam down in shaft i make fishing lures an there foam you can pour down in there an as it cures it will come all the way to top of shaft like the sense core but any shaft.only takes like 30 seconds very light weight..will go all the way to head the whole length of shaft make them just like graphite but the best of steel shaft

    I love the we. Awesome content. Question: Have you seen, from your experience, players have to change their course management skills after a fitting and build? I hope all is well. Cool ninja clubs.

      as a matter of fact yes. When the ball striking is no longer a concern the next step to place the ball for better scores. it becomes an AH HA moment

    Have you ever used wooden dowels in the tip of the golf shaft to reduce vibration? I have never done it just have heard of people doing it. I wonder if it would stiffen the shaft tip?

    Love the video! I use backer rod from home depot. Same stuff and super cheap. The feeling isn't night and day for me, but their is a slight difference. Anything helps tho on those cold days or hitting 100 balls at the range.

    Repupose? Haha. What about cork, or pool noodle slices, or even a squirter of great foam? I wonder if you've ever experimented?

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  2 года назад

      The expanding form is a no go as it gets hard the idea is to stay flexible. Cork doesn’t work but good if you like to SW buy using power in the shaft. /I use pool noodle to outline my target in the range. Haven’t tried but compare it to the other and it seem a bit to airy, so ya

    • @McGolf

      no, unless it was a significant amount then weight would be the issue.

    Hi Jim wondering if you can talk about irion heads and dispersion rate do pure blade have a better dispersion rate than a full cavity back irion off course it's how much you practice but that's not what I'm asking thanks

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  4 года назад

      like anything in golf it depends, I have found the misses can just as bad with either club. That is on the extreme of course. However IMO pure dispersion is smaller in the blade. that said, the miss on a blade a so much more penal with a blade than a cavity back it more than makes up for the dispersion issue.

    Hey McGolf I got a different Question for ya, I like the old timers like Moe Norman who hang around the driving range who talk a good game, do you think Moe was a 3 card Monty Con Man, he always has the same club and same swing during golf swing demonstrations, again I love leaning on my pitching wedge and listening to Golf Course Range Rats tell me how to make Birdies,, if I just took my wedge to the Range and hit 1,000 balls a day I could be the black Moe Norman holding wedge Clinics All day, come on Mcgolf tell us was ole Moe a Card Shark Shyster just on the Range Talking a good game.

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  4 года назад

      actually what I know of Moe would fill a thimble. However I do know that he was consider autistic. That is why he came of gruff and didn't work well in crowds. I would consider him the predecessor of Dechambeau

    • @scottmonthony726
      @scottmonthony726 2 года назад +1

      He won the Canadian amateur...twice...invited to the Masters, only played a few tournaments in the states....the PGA didn't like non conforming players....John Daly would have been kicked out...but Moe won 52 tournaments on the Canadian tour...shooting 59 three times, several double eagles....he could play.
      Some thought he was autistic, but never diagnosed... I think at that time frame, a Tiger Woods wasn't what the PGA tour wanted....they wanted different winner's every week.... but because of snobbish ignorance, the tour lost out... Moe would have brought so much inclusion to a once thought elite, gentleman's game...
