Probably the biggest known scandal WCC had to deal with is federal accusations that the company did not pay their workers for overtime.
According to an investigation by the Department of Labor, WCC paid many of their workers on a set salary when they should have been paid hourly and with overtime.
Considering that the amount of hours the job entails, that’s a whole lot of overtime, and the case covers two years worth of financial mismanagement. Ryan Friedlinghaus agreed to settle with the DoL for over $150,000 in back pay owed to low-level workers.

@@Benw3790he’s probably talking about all of the work done on the pimp my ride vehicles. Apparently the majority of the stuff they did on vehicles for the show either didn’t work or it got taken out after they were done filming.

He’s deffo referring to the old 2005 pump my ride series… he’s not going to address it.. it’s not necessary.. like anything that involves entertainment.. there’s a certain level of PROPS.. in this case.. they had to be bolted to cars.. obviously. Broadcasting companies control a lot of what gets shown. So Ryan’s not directly to blame.. as for shabby pay.. that’s either a vicious rumour from an old sour employee.. or just plain envy. He’s the biggest in the biz. Has been for years. I doubt he has problems paying his staff. Why’s he gonna upgrade everything around the people he’s NOT paying?… abit dumb & not 30 years stamina worthy is it?.. use your head.
