Can't help but pause the video to spot the six differences in the Elon Musk Pic. Yes, I spotted all six. Great video! Your contents are short, sweet & very helpful! Would love to see some excel videos!
I need to know if I need to use a tablet and what type of stylus I need.. It seems like every video misses that part. I need to know what you guys are writing on to do this
You've given me a lot to think about! I think the annotate feature could be a great way to do an ice-breaker at the start of class/meeting. I intended to start class with a fun question (e.g., favorite food/vacation spot) and have students type answers into chat. But as you say, then they have to scroll to read. More fun to have them type or write on the whiteboard as they join class! Could be a fun way to do "show and tell" too with their own pictures (i.e., a pet pic) if they can add a picture to the white board (??? is this possible???). My QUESTIONS: 1) can you recommend a digital "pen" for the Zoom whiteboard --- like an Apple pencil with an ipad? I'm not good writing with my mouse. 2) would an Apple iPad with the Notability App be superior to the Zoom whiteboard? are their pros/cons to a separate device versus the in-Zoom capability? THANKS
This is probably the easiest to understand out of the all the videos I have watched about annotating, but no one seems to really answer the question of where the saved file goes? Can you help with that?
You showed how to share a whiteboard and then a different app/item, is it possible to share a second whiteboard? or 3, 4, 5th whiteboard basically more than one whiteboard at a time? When I go to new share, it just brings up the current whiteboard I have up/was using.
Scott... This was really useful - I've never used whiteboards yet and am just exploring for possible future use. One question at this time: When you authorized participants to annotate, is there any limit on the number of simultaneous participants or limit on number of annotations? Thanks again.
I use whiteboard in my online lessons. It’s great as students don’t need to take as many notes. But a question….. Can I open a previously saved whiteboard file?
Can you make a video about how to get the most out of Slack? My work just switched to it and I would love to hear some tips and productivity pointers in using it. Thanks!
Thanks Scott. Excellent video. So helpful! Can you tell me how to share an audio such as youtube with a student so that we can both listen simultaneously? Is that possible? David
Can you reopen a saved Whiteboard during another meeting, reupload it to Zoom and make changes to it, using the Whiteboard feature? Thank you so much, this video was really helpful!
The pen disappears once I choose say the eraser or select or anything else in the toolbar. How do I get the pen back to continue writing? It seems the only way is to close the annotation bar and reopen it.
What if I want to share a short video, from youtube, or from my google drive (for instance, one that I created using screencastify) to my Zoom participants? I have had trouble with the participants being able to hear the audio. Also, are there good websites for polling participants that are easy to use that can help gauge participants' reactions to a topic? I want to use a program that allows me to post a link and not one that requires logins and signups. Would appreciate tips on making a zoom meeting more interactive.
Just discovered the whiteboard. We had some problems. It appears there are two ways to get to the whiteboard, one way by hitting share screen and then selecting whiteboard, the other way by directly clicking the whiteboard button. And these two whiteboards seem to be different in at least this way: the former is one screen in size, while the latter can be panned around an almost infinitely large plane. And that has a problem. If a user pans too far away he may not be able to find his way BACK to where everyone else is drawing.

Can we live annotated in the power point slide with your method?
This is great! I will use this when tutoring virtually. Thank you!
You are most welcome, Deb.
This is probably the easiest to understand out of the all the videos I have watched about annotating, but no one seems to really answer the question of where the saved file goes? Can you help with that?
Is there anyway to use cut-and-paste with the whiteboard or any other files that are on screen?

Hi! I added annotation in the settings of my zoom but still don’t have the annotation symbol while sharing my screen. What can be the problem? Thanks
Scott... This was really useful - I've never used whiteboards yet and am just exploring for possible future use. One question at this time: When you authorized participants to annotate, is there any limit on the number of simultaneous participants or limit on number of annotations? Thanks again.
There are no strict limits on the number of simultaneous participants or annotations that can be made in a meeting.
I use whiteboard in my online lessons. It’s great as students don’t need to take as many notes.
But a question…..
Can I open a previously saved whiteboard file?
You can now! Zoom just recently launched their standalone whiteboard feature so that you can prepare before and continue to use after any meeting.
Do you need a touch screen to do the whiteboard?
No, you can use your mouse to use all of the features listed here.
Can o customize who can annotate on screen?
Can you make a video about how to get the most out of Slack? My work just switched to it and I would love to hear some tips and productivity pointers in using it. Thanks!
Great idea!
Thanks Scott. Excellent video. So helpful! Can you tell me how to share an audio such as youtube with a student so that we can both listen simultaneously? Is that possible? David
When sharing your screen, make sure to check the box that says 'share sound' as well.
Can you reopen a saved Whiteboard during another meeting, reupload it to Zoom and make changes to it, using the Whiteboard feature? Thank you so much, this video was really helpful!
How can I save an annotated whiteboard so that it’s editable again when I retrieve it?
how do i use notability which is on my ipad on my desktop
Once you've saved an annotated whiteboard, where do you find it?
The pen disappears once I choose say the eraser or select or anything else in the toolbar. How do I get the pen back to continue writing? It seems the only way is to close the annotation bar and reopen it.
I want to play an online game in the breakout rooms. Like making an online puzzle...how can that be possible?
My Pre-K students use the white board to sign in to out Zoom class sessions and also for our math lessons.

Hello sir. I am not able to find annotate despite being the host. Please help.
Can someone please tell what to do if a participant doesn't have a toolbar with text/ draw options

Thanks so much for sharing this, Ted. I'll be sure to take a closer look!
Whenever I use annotation, my cursor disappears and I can't call it back. What should I do?
I’m using it as a teacher (K-5). I’ve enabled annotating, but my students say they can’t find this on their toolbar. What can I tell them?

How do I use a PowerPoint presentation on zoom

That's.
