Thank God got my honda city v cvt last month . Most value for money i think .
City is an Global Product selling in Multiple Countries where Elevate is specially developed for India so it's a product with lot of cost cutting feature wise keeping profits in mind
City has more features in india than other countries but In Elevate its opposite
It will sell good initially but after few months not it will settle at 3-4k units
Honda Management is again showing arrogance and taking customers granted and not even seeing what other brands are offering..Competition already gone on next level but
it's a last chance for them otherwise they will leave indian market like Ford, Chevrolet etc
They can do much better but they r digging their own grave

Honda is very durable ivtec,safe,220mm ground clearance, man maximum machine minimum, great mileage,clean interior layout,good braking. What more we require great highway cruiser rev the motor that sweet music to the ears sounds pleasant. Honda petrol head lasts very long and I have being driving Honda city 1.3exi 2000 model done around 2.45 lakhs still love the smoothens of the motor,people who have driven Honda vtec will never fall in love with other petrol units
Seems it will be tough time for Honda if starting range above 10.25 lakhs. Any mistake in pricing will be very costly for Honda now. At this time to remain in India, Honda should focus on sales number game. Elevate is the very crucial launch for Honda as sales of Honda cars are not upto the mark, Honda City 5th generation is also struggling for sales number due to competition in sedan segment.
I think Honda is moving ahead with the thinking that it should appeal more to a particular segment of buyers who value reliability and the Honda name to deliver excellent driving dynamics and overall comfort of it's vehicles . Probably they have factored in the pricing the possibility of low numbers. Honda in any case has never been very strong in numbers of any of it's models. So to keep that segment of buyers happy this company seems to have managed it's limited features across the different variants of Elevate and is focusing more on selling the top variant more because this segment will not mind paying 17+ lacs . But if you look at the other end of the spectrum at 10.99 lacs people are getting to own a Honda Elevate which is a slightly bigger SUV than it's nearest competitors . The space management would definitely appeal to customers who travel with 5 people on board. If the prices you mentioned turn out to be correct then I think this model will Elevate Honda. Otherwise with just City and Amaze and now Elevate Honda cannot survive for long in India. The future of all it's new launches will depend on the success of Elevate and the company knows it's position and accordingly must have done the pricing. I expect Elevate to do well.
Having owned 3 Hondas I am terribly disappointed with the feature and price list. Especially angry at 2 airbags and audio less base variant. Even their star variant V doesn't have alloys... Bullshit Honda. It's sheer arrogance. Learn to cater to your customers. Your premium would have been justified by just offering features. Lately people are aware of CREATA and SELTOS build quality and safety. Both of them are overpriced. Honda had a great chance to occupy the niche vacuum. Even today you are a respected brand having much more aspirational value than Hyundai and KIA. You let it go with both hands. Extremely angry with MBAs who planned the variants who spoiled the great work of the engineers. Angry and disappointed. Honda has remained my eternal love always... but this arrogance .... le doobega. Customer ko bewkuf mat samjho.
I totally disagree with you and Mycarhelpline on this aspect. Its utter bullshit to support anything Honda does. Well there could be some who are brand loyal towards it for those who are outside of honda Elevate is a sedate product not bcoz it doesn’t have features but due to their audacity to give anything without options and variants at the price of their liking. Zero USP car is Elevate. Same 20 year old engine and evident cost cutting even when compared to City. Unless it is segment benchmark in ride and handling there is nothing special about elevate. Yes the structure could be better but as a city car it shouldn’t matter and competition is providing several more active and passive safety features. What will you do with Adas in city driving? When they have nothing to offer they are promoting adas as if its only unique to Honda. Its just another cross over with a good engine and limited features. Cant say its priced well if the top model is really priced at 17 lakhs.

@@Liguritiobut at least there r some good things among the many negatives that Elevated is based on the 5th gen city platform and that is a 5 star rated car in the Asean ncap, plus the segment best ground clearance and even more than scorpio N is a +ve thing especially at times when we r driving our cars on stream like roads in this monsoon, Hope the driving dynamics are also good
After seeing the feature list, Honda Elevate should be priced between 9 to 14 lacs, not a rupee more else goodbye Honda. I have seen a lot of Honda cars outside India offering tons of features including a Hybrid engine, probably they are not so keen on the Indian market.

Everything needed to have a safe driving experience is there , Quality and reliability demands premium pricing . i can assure you once you own a Honda global cars you will never look at anything else. I drive a CRV 2012 and bought another CRV 2021 too , hands down no comparison in terms of refinement and driving comfort. If you pay that premium money and take care of your car , it will outlive you .

ADAS had caused a steep price hike in City, so in future even might be only available only in ZX even for Honda City.
So, now in case of ELEVATE : V and VX might get just Cruise Control (Not ADAS) and V might just get a 16" Alloy Wheels instead of 17" Alloy Wheels of VX Variant
Adas was available with hike of 15 to 30k from the pre-facelift . And that too dealerships were providing decent discount as sedan sales were low .
Dealer said no alloys in V 😢

I am very disappointed from Variant V and VX. I was only waiting for Honda Elevate for safety and reliability. However 6 airbags and Honda Sensing i.e. ADAS2 are missing in V and VX.

Why dint u consider vw/skoda? Even xuv300 will be good choice than seltos/creta.
I have rejected XUV300 due to design and it's small boot space.
Kushaq is smaller and not comfortable for 3 passengers in rear seat.

They must start the pricing from something like 10 or 10.2 lakhs. Higher price will gonna be reason for failure of car or may be company itself.
Except for Honda Badge it's not a VFM Car against competition offerings.

At these pricing & variant offerings it may not sell well in the Mid Size Segment of Creata-Seltos, Vitara-Hyryder, Kushaq-Taigun, Astor......

Sir you take two wheelers or four wheelers, they are always late in introducing new features and the team which finalizes the features always ensures that some of the key features are missing. Add to this there exorbitant costing. This is the DNA of Honda.

Honda made worst decision by discontinuing i-DTEC engine they are not offering petrol hybrid and i-VTEC NA engine mai lag hoga 145 Nm for suv kam hai jab 4 log aur full luggage hoga car will hesitate while pickup especially in CVT diesel 100 bhp aur 200 ka torque tha which would have been best choice for people. Kau ki ye baddi suv hai fuel efficiency city mai single digit hi hogi.

Sv and v variant will get 16inch steel wheels with 218mm gc. Vx and zx will get 17inch alloy wheels with 220mm gc. 100% confirmed.

the center console does not says its HONDA, very disappointing to see new Honda SUV in a 10yr old design.
17 lakh CVT top end model is too much....there are lot of options like creta/seltos/hyrider....very dificult for Honda if pricing is not good.........I think, with given feature & compairing other brands 15 lakh for ZX CVT would be the best price.

Indian Auto industry is not growing in terms of quality.
Indian car companies are making safe cars, alright but their overall product quality is still not up to the mark.
Car is just like cigarette, no matter how much price is increased, people will continue to buy. So where is the problem in manufacturing and selling safe, stylish, emission compliant, quality cars!
On the whole, Honda cars have not been able mordenrise their car😮 features including updated terbo engines. This is a disappointment. Higher trim features cars should be available as an option.
