I worked with him a few times in the lounge at Harrahs Tahoe...... people got exhausted from laughing...he was so quick!
thats cool.
I like his reactions to his failed jokes more than the jokes themselves
His whole schtick is that he’s bombing.
After sight gag falls flat at MS telethon: "God, they're blind too!"
Funny, I read on almost every video of him the same comment, the young generation doesn't get it, HE IS SUPPOSED TO ACT LIKE HE IS BOMBING, that's his whole act!
@@JENDALL714 That's an odd gimmick, but l guess it works
thats the whole point, him freaking out about people not laughing
Very underrated. His timing, the beats--he was like Dangerfield. He's even funnier now as I watch him as an adult. This was hilarious!
Michael Klein far cry from dangerfield
@@JR-up2mb yeah, Dangerfield was funny
i laughed so hard, i got bricked up from the front and the back ;)
God I absolutely love this routine. His iron-clad commitment to the bit could almost be regarded as post-standup. You can tell by the unplanned quips how razorsharp Taylor was.
"Mrs. Paul's Fish sticks. Does Yours?" 😁😁😁
Today was Toulouse-Lautrec's birthday and I bought him a belt and I said is that belt Too Tight Toulouse?
"You're missing one hell of a show"
What a comic genius!! Quick and funny!! I grew up watching this dude!! No one had better entrances than Rip Taylor did!
hysterical man!!! Got to see him in Vegas once
He gave people the gift of laughter, and there isn't a much better gift than that.
Firing on all cylinders, I wasn’t expecting to laugh so hard watching this.
There's some confetti flying in heaven
@@joemihaly cause if he wasn't, the bible says that he'll go to heaven
Just heard the sad news about Rip's passing....my Mom and I would watch Rip on all the talk shows and laugh our butts off....I laughed till I cried....even when he was throwing confetti all around, that in itself was hilarious too !! Rest In Peace Rip and thanks so much for the memories 💜 ✨✨✨ ❤: ))))))
June Lynn He’ll be missed... 😢
@@nataliehughes1020 That he will : ((((((
June Lynn He always makes me laugh.
@@nataliehughes1020 Me too Natalie, I hadn't thought about him in a long time but spent many happy hours watching him....just a simple comedy act but his personality made him special...I loved him as a child and now.
That's the ultimate goal in life to laugh and he made people laugh Thank u Rip RIP
Loved his little cameos at the end of the Jackass movies
Sadly Rip Taylor died today. Rip Torn also passed away earlier this year. RIP RIP & RIP.
Craig Elliott I’ve just spat Pepsi all over my iPad laughing. Thank you :-)
@@glyph2011 Thanks. That's great. ✌
Both RIPs would have loved you 3RIP punchline. Very good.
Rest In Peace, so sad to have lost such a brilliantly goofy mind!
But it would be ironic if he was still alive. RIP Taylor lol.
Rest In Peace, Rip Taylor. You’re the best comic relief that the fangirl would ever had. 😔🙏🏻
If a Parrot took on human form, it would be Rip Taylor.
Alex Rees
You're thinking of Gilbert Gottfried.
He was one of a kind. His out of this world humor and vibrancy the lightened up someone’s day or life because it was needed. Our younger generation needs to know what humor is like from Rip Taylor and May Hod bless his soul as he embarks on his journey home.
It's God
I'm so glad I discovered this guy. He's so funny and I love his personality. It's good to know that even after death, this guy is still making people like me laugh.
"they can't all be gems you know" perfect!
A true underrated comedy hero. I always enjoyed his gags and quick wit. Wish he was in more movies tho.
There will never be another like Mr. Taylor! We will miss you
He was a lively entertainer who will be missed.
I loved this guy. R.I.P. funny man. And thanks for the laughs!
RIP Rip Taylor. We'll miss you.
RESTI PEACE FUNNY MAN...YOU ARE ONE OF THE GREATEST...THANK YOU FOR YEARS OF LAUGHS..
Rest In Peace, you zany, zany man.
I adored Rip,just for the simple fact he could make me laugh like no other. He was like a throwback to Vaudeville, and had he been born earlier probably would have hit the big time there also.My first recollection of him was very early 60s appearances on the Ed Sullivan show. From there the Jackie Gleason American Scene Magazine Show, then just about every talk show going for years. He did his mimicking routine to Spike Jones for a long time(usually Cocktails for Two).Eventually he evolved into the schtick you see above.Always funny and off the wall. One always expected the unexpected with Rip.His jokes were older than he was but his delivery ,funny asides and reactions to the audience could put over the lamest jokes and routines.Thank you Rip for the countless hours/years of laughter. And God bless ya.
Band i was in '80 Worked back to back with Rip. at the Sahara Casbah lounge. Nicest, funniest act around. Got to know him, as he was there often with us. We alternate sets each night. Vegas has never been the same since then. That's a known fact!
His prop jokes were funnier than Carrot Top.
@@68corvette08 in all fairness, that's not a monumental accomplishment!
I like him in small amounts. Lot of laughter, lots of confetti - is how I'll always remember him.
That sums it up....JUST confetti and a mess for someone to clean up. Lol
Rip was one of the most underrated comedians. He was essentially the King of Dad Jokes but knew how to make it work in a way that was mentally relieving and comically hysterical.
Rip Taylor is one of those people that you keep thinking is dead for decades....but turns out hes still alive and well...
NOT ANYMORE. 😭
Not anymorr
i havent thought of rip taylor since the 90s...then i make a comment and few days later he dies.cant help but feeling partially responsible...i cursed him...
Okay. Now that you know you have this power, you have to be responsible.
Do. Not. Comment. About. Betty. White.
WHY!!!!!!!!! Look what you did!!
A very good example of a good comedian making a lame act work
And making a lame act work can be funny
RIP RIP. I loved you when I was a kid. You are Paul Lynde were my favourite. lol
Loved him and his energy😎
If Don Rickles took speed and did prop comedy... he'd be Rip Tayler. Believe it or not, I mean that as a compliment.
The timing & wording of his reactions are perfect.
True
Rip Taylor is everything I'm not supposed to like. He's a prop comic telling really old jokes, but he still makes me laugh.
One of my grandmother's favorites.💖😁💯🌃🎀
Man starts out the show by bombing and laughing at his own failure and then people start to warm up to him. Gotta love the perseverance!!! He should have just started out by saying "Helloooo Friscoooo" that one always made me crack up. 😂😂
Funny man. Had the best looking hair piece ever.
Truth 🙏
Priceless
Who's here after hearing about his death?
Keshia Anders
I thought he died years ago. Oops.
I thought he already died
That’s Rip Torn. I made the same mistake.
John Oliver
I saw him on the Brady Bunch hour.
He and I have the same sense of humor. For instance- my friend had his 2 friends visit, sonething about blocking a persons call. He wanted to block several. So I said " why not have a block party". His 2 friends laughed, he said I'm not funny - while snickering.
R. I. P....... MR.TAYLOR. You are missed!
RIP Mr. Taylor
Rest In Peace , Rip Taylor Was a Very Funny Man !!!
R.I.P Rip
Just goes to show we need all types of people to enjoy a full robust life experience. Especially those who make us laugh.
This man was a genius in comedy.
what a pro. you can tell he worked many years at his craft.
Punchline after punchline he was fun and funny... 😂 Lol
God bless you Rip Taylor
He would have made a good Joker in a Batman movie
THEY CAN'T ALL BE GEMS BATMAN!!
He did play a sort of Joker character on the Sigmund Sea Monster show in the 70's, he played a green Genie.
RIP Rip!
So underrated
How can you not like this lovable goofball.
I love, love, love him droning on in Wayne's World 2. "... so he played me a record from the Doors. And I said well you appear to be more like a crooner, working in the rock milieu, which I like."
That was a whirlwind
It’s like he is fighting with the audience
Rip today man
HOLY MOSES!
THE BEST
GREAT Energy
R.I.P. Rippy you were the best
You'll get these when you get home and you'll laaaaaugh!
What a Genius!
Jerry sent a limo for me, thank got it missed. LOL
Who else is here watching this after Rip passed away?
He was one of the funniest comics there ever was. Hilarious.
HILARIOUS!!!
It's anti-humor, the fail is the punchline. Dude was ahead of his time.
Way ahead of his time.
Great set! hahaha
One of the Capricorn greats! Too funny. RIP Charles .
Rip rip
My vacum cleaner sucks, and thats when I lost it lmao
The sheet music bit gets me every time
Hahahaha
Rip is a favorite
This is Vine/Tik Tok humor that zoomers love. He was ahead of his time.
To me, he'll always be Captain Kiddie!!
Who came in they're laughing at something?! Dude was working for those laughs wow.
I was watching Sesame Street when he was popular, so it's before my time, but holy shit I was dying before he even said anything. This is some funny shit.
RIP, Rip Taylor!
didn’t know he passed away, i was waiting for him at the end of Jackass forever, rip, Rip Taylor.
I'm still searching for a tv show he did together with Dionne Warwick in 1980 called "Boo!". Unfortunately it seems to be lost.
funniest delivery ever
Rest easy
He was good enough for The Aquabats, he's good enough for you!
Rip
I feel like Rip Taylor was the original Mitch Hedberg but with props and not perpetually high
Fester addams
Rip rip Taylor
He was a funny man… very kind.
Uncle fester!
RIP Rip Taylor
RIP Rip.
He was low brow but he was a master at timing and working the audience.
He's like the grandfather of Carrot Top...
Funny talented nut loved him
My wisdom tooth is retarted. Thats great
He's like the cowardly lion's little brother.
I wish I had 100 or 1000 confettis
RIP
I know this joke as been make million times since his death, but
RIP Taylor!
