well, grant got around 7667 kills in deathless, theres a lot of zerg and it will be more swarmmy that base game, plus having reloads so its actually a pretty reasonable kill count. I honestly have no clue for a reasonable death count.

Grant, that's a traffic light 16:20 and for an idea, I say go for the colonist mission, and use goliaths and firebats to protect the colonists, goliaths playing double duty with anti-air and anti-ground, and firebats being firebats.
The reason we still have infantry IRL is because of buildings, terrain and battlespace awareness among other things. Vehicles may have superior firepower and mobility, but there are a number of places they cannot access. I wonder if the move is that bigger things have a larger chance to miss smaller things

I think some crazy expensive units like the battlecruiser or thor on the deadman's port mission would be pretty funny, and a bunch of anti-marauder kill team marauder kill teams and trains would be pretty good too. Obviously add the diamondback snakes to trains as well, because what kind of challenge run trains mission doesn't have a train in it.

Real Scale SC1/BW was by far the best thing to ever come out, it was so enjoyable and immersive especially with how comparatively more difficult it is compared to SC2
If I remember right from the original real scale: Firebats had the charge time on their attack removed, and their attack size wasn’t reduced, making them much more viable.
I don't know if it's even possible, but beating Redstone with battle cruiser(s) would be hilarious... You could probably only get one and still be able to win so can a single BC beat the zerg? Let's find out

Psychology major here - I would be willing to bet money than you are ADHD or on the spectrum in some capacity. Not that it is a bad thing! It makes you who you are, and is most likely why you have the personality/attitude that has made you a joy to watch. flavor : Scourges were present in too high numbers, destroying the air units after warfield totally failed to mitigates the losses against the air base, only the cloakers survived.
No ghosts or specters because all groups that were with ghosts or specters attracted the zerg(because it's cannon that the zerg are attracted by them)
The rest feels like it'll be good enough to be "ready to fry", please try to not add starports units nor the ghosts and specters if you lose, good luck !

I forgot to add the composition thing to my original comment so I'm throwing in another comment for the composition. I think some crazy expensive units like the battlecruiser or thor on the deadman's port mission would be pretty funny, and a bunch of anti-marauder kill team marauder kill teams and trains would be pretty good too. Obviously add the diamondback snakes to trains as well, because what kind of challenge run trains mission doesn't have a train in it.

...As for comps, might I suggest ghosts/spectres? Yeah, it's a bit cheap before the enemy has dedicated detection, but let's be honest there really aren't many opportunities to REALLY mess around with stealth in the game.

The best way to evacuate is through preparation. The Evacuation with scanner tanks and widow mines
You should definitely use only fire bats and hellions on the devils playground. It’s a fire based mission, so only fire based units!
Real Scale SC1/BW was by far the best thing to ever come out, it was so enjoyable and immersive especially with how comparatively more difficult it is compared to SC2
If I remember right from the original real scale: Firebats had the charge time on their attack removed, and their attack size wasn’t reduced, making them much more viable.

Idea for Orca, no idea if it's worth a damn, but maybe anti-air stuff could have separate ranges for regular and anti-capital shots. That way they could deal with the size/range of capital ships without completely zoning out smaller units or reducing capital ships to "I can shoot under me and no where else"?
