- Getting a chance to have a relaxing Friday Shave with two familiar products from Portugal today from the folks at TATARA Shaving. I’ve used them in a previous video but the new item today is the shaving soap from Pearl Shaving-Shavers Spirit.

The classic flair tips cannot be beaten. I have a 1958 Gillette TV special (due to a previous shave demonstration of yours) and now I use hardly anything else. Its only a moderate shave, nothing special, but it sets my mood to 'good' each morning and its mechanical function is spot-on, even after 62yrs of service on one face or another

Nice shave Ken💈💈 I have two complete sets of Safari after shave & cologne in the faux crocodile cases and left over sets unboxed. Yeah, extremely rare stuff but so good. Ralph Lauren should bring this one back unchanged.. Great shave with the Masamune, never sprang for the razor although it's still available, who knows. Gotta love the burn man😁 Great video again. YES it's amazing how an aftershave smell can take you back in time to your youth, i get the memories of my late teens & early twenties when i use YSL Kouros, it is still my favourite fragrance along with the original 1984 Lacoste, when i can find it on eBay at a price than doesn't require the sale of a kidney.

Good video as usual! When I saw the Safari bottle, had to watch for sure! I finished my last bottle of Safari cologne a few years ago. That was my go-to for many years. I still have some of the talc powder and throw that on sometimes when I use Soap Commander Strategy shave soap as I feel like it's a similar scent. Also reminded me about the Tatara razors. May have to pick one up. Don't remember if you mentioned which blade gap that was or not.

Hey ken, beginner shaver here. I only shave my neck because i like to keep a short beard. Problem is, my skin is sensitive and I struggle with ingrown hairs a few days after the shave. Tips?
First pass, shave with the grain and use a DE razor - second pass across the grain and if you need a third against the grain

Would you recommend taking a scoop out of every soap you use I just got my first full puck of soap from Stirling Soap Company and it's a soft soap so should I scoop some out or lather in the container thanks

How do you compare the tatara masamune to feather as d2?
To be honest I haven’t tried the Feather, but this was very smooth and seemed to be mild
