I just bought a new 12T yesterday and of course got on RUclips to see some mods and videos about it and I came across your seat video and im going to do it your way and just your joy of being out on the water makes me happy. "my balls are huge son" that shit made me laugh.
Hahahaha sorry for the late reply life got in the way and I got in a huge bind after losing my job and sold the kayak and most of my fishing stuff so I hadn’t been able to do much fishing lately. I keep forgetting to check my RUclips. Been a bit depressed about the thing so haven’t even thought about it.

So. I went to Bass Pro and bought one.
I'm doing some mods before taking it out.
I'm excited now
Let me know how you like it I ended up gaining weight and didn’t feel too safe on a kayak I prefer a boat but people who stick to kayaks really love them
Fun watching your first trip on your SOT kayak. I was looking for instructions on raising the seat in my kayak. We live in the Panhandle of Florida, subbed, looking forward to seeing more vids.
Man that was awesome to watch. I want to say congratulations to your new kayak man. I remember when I got my first kayak man I was so happy could not even wait to get it on the water. I had the same problem with Mother Nature when I got my kayak. The day I went and picked it up my kayak on my way back home from the kayak shop I ran into a severe thunderstorm right when I got home & and it thunderstorm for two weeks straight everyday. Man it was awesome seeing you excited on your kayak man. I made a pulling rope for my kayak. I went to Walmart and bought me some 550 cord & bought me one big XL carabiner & 1 regular carabiner took the 550 cord and tie it to each carabiner and took the regular Carabiner and click it to the front handle and use the extra large carabiner to pull the kayak. It works well and very cheap to do. You could do a pulling rope the same way so it would be easy to get up and sit down in the seat. That's what I did and it works well. Awesome video man thank you for sharing.
It was crazy fun that's for sure! I got the trolling motor mounted and all that now so the next time imma be trying it out and all that good stuff. I never thought about pulling a rope on the front and using it like a pull rope to pull myself up out of the chair that's a good idea. I'll definitely have to try that sometime. Thanks a lot for watching!
@@RollingCajunOutdoors oh no problem man. The pulling rope work really really good man. It handles my 300 lb with no problem. I also like it how I have it tied to the Caribbean so I can clip it on and off the handles when I need to.
@@mackjenkins7721 That's how I will probably do it too with one of the sturdy clips so I can take it on and off. I put this thing on the top of my van so I can't have the rope slapping the van so being able to take it on and off is a must.
How much that kayak cost
$650 but they are $750 now I got it a couple months ago no idea why the cost went up $100 still worth every penny
I just got lucky and found a used one for $425 with a trolling motor today love it so far
