- Doing my first kayak mod adding a rudder to the back of my new Ascend 12T kayak. Kayak fishing Ep 2. I made this up as I went had no idea what I was doing. I just went with it and it came out alright.

You might get some silicone or something to put around your screw holes your making so it won’t leak. I have this exact kayak I haven’t done all this to it yet but I’m going to. Thanks for the vids. Been watching them so keep them coming.
Yeah I've added some on the ones that weren't stainless till I feel like replacing them. It keeps them from rusting and also from ever leaking. I'm glad you like the videos. Thanks for watching.
Add some small springs to both sides of the rudder pedals to keep them center when you take your feet off, and I would use white lithium grease on the setup, all in all it looks great
Yeah I thought about adding springs to it to keep tension ont he peddles
Awesome job. I would have ran the cable inside the yak. But it still works. I just don't like all the cables laying on top of the boat
