    I want one now. I’ve walked by one at the sprayer supply store for years now. I always tell myself we don’t need it. This video should play next to the display.

    That's a way fancier setup than my boomless 110 gallon three point! I've been wanting to get booms for it, but just can't justify it with other things breaking. Maybe next year I always say. That Handler 2 looks awesome and a real time saver.

      Its real nice. I wish i had it when i was custom spraying.... didnt even have a pump for roundup when i started .....

  • @PAFarms
    @PAFarms 6 лет назад

    Man I liked this, I am fascinated by self propelled sprayers. I was never in one before. Status is my go to. Love it, just wish it was cheaper

    • @tedkahler9738

      Self propelled sprayers are nice but ours lacks power.... but its light the newer larger ones have more power and are way heavier so yea... not sure what our next sprayer will be

    Hello, how are you keeping the spray tank agitated? With a separate pump , or does the handler keep recirculating?

    • @tedkahler9738
      @tedkahler9738  7 месяцев назад

      The sprayer itself has seperate pump but this handler uses a 2 or 3 inch pump to move water around

    • @runwayedge
      @runwayedge 7 месяцев назад

      @@tedkahler9738 I'm ignorant in theses processes, please confirm that the handlers 2" pump is agitating the sprayer volume of liquid or the sprayer itself is using its own recirculating pump to agitate chemical mix?

    3 inch or 2 inch fill? How do you like using the venturi to draw chemical from the tote vs a chemical pump? We are 3 inch fill and I'm considering replumbing to allow me to suck directly from the totes.

    • @tedkahler9738
      @tedkahler9738  6 лет назад

      FarmerSchneck this is 2 inch fill. The Venturi pulling from the tote works great so far

    What is the transfer rate gallons of clean water to venturi from the mix tank? 3:1? 5:1?

    • @tedkahler9738
      @tedkahler9738  4 года назад +2

      To be honest it really depends on flow pressure and thickness of material transferred. I honestly have no idea of transfer rate except it’s plenty fast to filll my 750 gallon sprayer and get all the chemicals in

    • @tedkahler9738

      same as the old one... 750 gallons. old one was just rotted out

      @41MegaCab 6 лет назад

      Ted Kahler oh ok. Mine spherical tanks cradle is trying to rust out too. I have some big ratchet straps on there for insurance but will have to put a tank on this winter. I have a tyler XL just like yours.

      @tedkahler9738  6 лет назад

      dont shit when you price from case..... 6000 just for my stand.... i got this tank shipped to me for around 1200 bucks ... pretty close to same dimensions as the original tank

    • @41MegaCab
      @41MegaCab 6 лет назад

      Ted Kahler yeah that's ridiculous. I wouldn't pay that for one. $1,200 isn't bad, who did you buy it from? Did everything hook up pretty similar?

    • @tedkahler9738
      @tedkahler9738  6 лет назад

      ummm.... yess and no. i made my own base to set tank on as the saddle on the purchased tank was short so i made it higher so it cleared the bars on the back.... i actually got rid of some of the un necessary plumbing and valves and just put on what i actually wanted on ... Would you like a video on how i did mine... ?

    A lot easier than mixing that stuff by hand. Personally with what I know now I am leery of anything that is says you have to wear protective equipment to work with it.

    • @tedkahler9738

      Definitely easier than mixing by. hand... and as far as wearing protective clothing.... everthing for the most part is dangerous in the right levels... From coffee... caffeine. meds... the list goes on
