My god... This is now officially the most "cursed" Minecraft let's play, and amongus house is a scariest part of it.
it looks sus.....
The suspicious house.
1:53
he knew from the very start
Oh dear god, THE HOUSE IS SUS
Sure, the ghosts are scary, but nothing’s scarier than hearing him say “I want to find a village soon,” and seeing that Bad Omen II status in the top right
exactly, you'd think it was scripted but thats just the horrible timing of the clueless
The funny thing is, considering the data pack causes all your torches to get destroyed while allowing lanterns to stay untouched, the canceled feature of torches burning out and lanterns being the permanent replacement kind of came true by complete accident.
if they burned out most of the time and only rarely fell off I think that’d be good for this data pack
@@3SZthat wouldn’t be creepy
@@QUBIQUBED it would make it look like someone physically put them out so yes it would be creepy like instead of your like ds dissapearing it instead would be turned on even though you havent touched it in like a few months or something
@@QUBIQUBEDhonestly it'd probably be more creepy because a missing torch can be just chalked up to just forgetting to place it while an unlit torch has no explaination to who put it out.
Not to mention it'd tie into supernatural entities in ghost stories blowing out candles.
The most terrifying possibility is that he comes back to his house and finds the top floor missing, with a giant quartz bone sticking up in its place.
Herobrine does a lil bit of trollin' out here
Why quartz? Bone blocks are a thing
Bone often isn’t used when builders want bones, usually quartz is used instead
Bones are usually used as broken pillars surprisingly
guys i think they meant "bone" in a different way...
Herobrine was the imposter *1 imposter remains*
I started dying laughing when he turned to face the house
When the imposter is intact sus
That house looks... Dubious.
The house has a questionable character
I paused eating my meal
same omg
58:07 this scare is perfect, the ominous message of "i hope he doesn't look in at the moon" immediately followed by THAT
He got so startled his player even jumped LMAOO
Is it part of the mod or just some really bad luck
The only thing that’s really scary is the among us house
@@Focalfiber06 its probably part of the mod especially since it played an audio que and the jumpscare almost at the same time. The chances of that happening randomly are pretty low.
@@Focalfiber06 i think it was really bad luck
Whoever made the comment about the moon was probably referencing the “don’t look at the moon” minecraft arg
As a wise man once said
"Please, PLEASE un-amogus your house." - Herobrine
That might be the reason why hes not haunting the librarian
The true horror villain was the Librarian all along.
lol
My heart skipped a beat when he turned to show his house, my arms shot down to protect my vital organs.

I dont know if theres any other people doing playthoughs or showcases of this mod and i feel Librarian is the eprfect guy to make a great shwocase on this kind of subtle horror mod

the "looking at the moon" part was so good
To my knowledge Don’t look at the moon refers to a somewhat new Minecraft arg of the same name though I have no clue if the ghost appearing was caused by him looking directly at the center of the moon

I have 2 things to say, 1 I'd have to agree, him not making it too grand or anything helps the bit land better, and 2 nice Maya PFP
1:40 that was expertly done. The buildup, the delivery, the execution, everything.
The librarian has this very unique narration that feels so one of a kind and he also feels so calm to feel like you can fall asleep to his voice......minus when he's screaming and panicking from Herobrine attacks
I so much agree with you lmao
This is true. I like watching The Librarian and will also put on his gmod or Outer Wilds Playthrough to sleep
Bros literally how I fall asleep
Or being attacked by literally anything
Bro sounds like he's gonna be grooming kids at 100k
The Redstone torches symbolize an old part of the Herobrine story. Once described by a user on the minecraft forums, this plays out exactly how we remember actually encountering a dark burning figure on the Xbox 360 version of minecraft.
Yup. Glad they have it.
Full story; this happened to me, and the figure scared the shit out of me and made me quit the game entirely.
@@trshpizzalmao there was actually a figure? Doubt it, I think you’re lying.
@@QUBIQUBED You think I'm actually lying? You people can automatically assume I'm lying because of one detail; it sounds like I'm lying.
It's not a lie, or an urban legend I'm trying to tell. I'm just saying that occurrences in the game can happen.
My friend, once told me he was playing survival minecraft after that day i came to his house to help him buy it, he didnt have access to credit or debit cards, he told me he saw many weird things, i told him maybe its because of a bug or hes just seeing things because his broken sleep schedule makes him hallucinate, but then he told me he saw a 2 by 2 hole straight into the side of the mountain and in the end was a sign saying, i know you’re there *his name*, and then it dissapeared, i gaslighted him into thinking it was just a nightmare, i will never ever tell him i can actually join his world and see when he is online or not😂😂😂

Amogus house
This isn't even about the horror mod anymore just watching you learn how to play modern Minecraft & I love it there's something so wholesome seeing someone fumble their way through it because they just don't know the secrets yet adds to the already cozy vibe of the game itself
For me it’s validating cause I started playing Minecraft again recently and it’s been very very very confusing with all the new stuff they added. But yes the cozy vibes are immaculate!!!
Something tells me he might be faking it, knowing of certain new features but refusing to exploit them for the sake of nostalgy. For example, he acknowledged the critical hit system, and even accidentally swum full speed trough the water once for a fraction of a second, but really he doesn't seem to want to use them.
@@27PSB72 I mean just bc he knows about a few things doesn’t mean he knows about them all, like I knew of certain new features thanks to RUclips videos and some friends, but it was like playing a different game at times. Like the NETHER?! And PARROTS?! And THE CAVES OMG
its really funny hearing him say "if i get to a village" with the bad omen icon like brother you are in for a world of pain if you dont get some milk
@@27PSB72 The swimming could just be an accident, and he could have learned of the critical hit system through a comment or something, I don't know.

That amogus house was easily the most horrifying part of this video, sometimes man can be scarier than the things stalking him.

Also a few things to note:
Fletcher table: It's a villager job station not something you use
Smithing table: it specifically upgrades diamond to netherite. NOthing else
Loom: it's for banners
Stonecutter: It's actually more efficient when making stairs than the regular recipe.
enchanting stuff:
Aqua affinity lets you mine faster underwater
respiration makes you loose air slower

I love it when people give him tips or teach him new things about the game, then in the next episode he actually _listens_ to those suggestions and improves. Which means he actually reads a lot of our comments and acknowledges them! I love this guy, he's actually awesome.
He knew what he was doing when he was “remodeling” his house.
bro everybody in the comments complaining about the sus house. This was already like that in ep 2.
@@GreasyTroutit weren’t red with blue glass bro
"So I made a few improvements on the house" best house design ever, the science totally checks out as well
Here's some more Tips!
1. Aqua Affinity does a Ton of minor things, but the most important is Better visibility while underwater. Respiration is the enchantment which helps with breathing underwater.
Aside from that, While under you normally have your movement speed and mining speed reduced drastically, Aqua Affinity lessens that reduction.
2. When dealing with Piglins, you can actually barter with the Mature ones. Tossing a Gold ingot at them, they will pick it up, and toss something else in return.
3. The Dolphin Icon, is the Dolphin's Grace effect. It gives you a small speed boost while swimming. They also don't like boats, so if you ride one near them, they may nudge you out of it to play.
4. The Loom is used for Banner making. The fletching Table is used for Arrow Crafting, Basically Tipped, Spectral, and others however it's currently unimplemented. The Cartography Table is used for Mapping, such as locking them, or copying. The Smithing Table is to upgrade Diamond Gear to Netherite the strongest Tier in the game currently. The Blast furnace is a Faster normal Furnace which only accepts ores. The smoker is the same as the blast furnace, but only accepts food. The Grindstone allows you disenchant Gear, while getting a Small rebate on XP. You can also repair gear inside of it.
5. When enchanting, Golden Gear is usually going to have better enchantments than Diamond. However due to their Durability it's not worth it, except for the fact they can help Reset Enchantments. So if you have a Netherite Helmet, but poor enchantments, Enchant a Weak and Cheap Gold Helmet to reset the Netherite Helmet's Enchantments. Weird, but it works.
6. When dealing with Pillager Patrols, if you kill the Bannerholder you gain the "Bad Omen" Effect. This effect will only activate if you enter inside of a Village. This will initiate a Pillager Raid on that Village. A good few Waves of Pillagers will then spawn and seek out to kill the villagers and you inside the Village. Be prepared! From Pillagers, to Vindicators, Witches, Evoker, Vex, Ravagers will spawn!
You can get a Free saddle as a drop from Ravagers. The Pillagers can Drop their Crossbows, while The Vindicators, and Evokers may Drop totems of undying and Emeralds. Lots of good loot!
Once you Complete the raid and defend the Village, you will get the "Hero of the Village" effect which drastically reduces Villager trading prices.
All in all, it can be a tough fight, with very high rewards.
7. The heart of Sea is crafted into a conduit, which is Basically an underwater beacon. Gives infinite water breathing, boosted mining speeds which stacks with Aqua Affinity, faster speeds while swimming, and even better brighter vision underwater.
All in all, a worthwhile grind.
You need to surround the heart of the sea with Nautilus Shells in the crafting table. Drowned Zombies (the Blue and Teal ones) can rarely be seen holding Nautilus Shells. Kill them and they will drop it, much like the *Trident* which is *IMO* the all time best Weapon in the game. They have a Chance of holding either of these items, and will most of the time drop them. It is the only way to farm them. You also need to build a Hollow box around the Conduit, while it Floats in the middle.
8. Pillager towers usually have Minor loot. The best loot is usually the Crossbow, and arrows, besides the Building being used as the greatest Factions base for multiplayer, but I digress. You can rarely find 2 Mobs within their Cages. allay very rarely, and mostly Iron Golems. It's more so Lore heavy, while being a Cool showoff for the crossbow and a Structure to fight Pillagers. The Allay is Genuinely the best reward from them, if you're lucky enough.
9. The Compass will not Direct you to your Renewed spawn. It will direct you to your True Spawn. A True spawn, is and will always be the first spot you ever spawned into the world, Usually Y 0 and X 0 on the coordinates. Consider it the center of the world.
10. As per the Caves update, They've been given an Entirely new identity. Certain Cave structures can be generated. Such as Giant Lakes, Huge Crevices, enormous bellows, staggered hills.... These are mere Descriptions as they're too many for me to care to remember well myself. Just know, they're absolutely astounding in design now. The blocks you found; Dripstone and the Stalagmites. Dripstone is normally a Decorative block, while the Stalagmite itself can be used to Farm Lava. You can also create Mud, Dirt, Moss, Sand, Gravel.... It's very intricate, and I haven't fully gotten to understand it yet, but a lot of people have made redstone designs for this. It's a nice find if you're interested, just to see how cool it is.
11. You absolutely should be far more careful while underground!
If you travel too far, as I've said in the previous videos you will be entertaining the Deep dark!!
I will not say more, for everyone needs to experience _Him_ blindly. I'll give you 2 Hints however. Do not make any sound, and you only get 3 Warnings. Don't upset _Him_ as if he's angry... Well, yeah. It's dangerous to go alone, so take some Wool with you, it should keep things silent. 😏
12. I don't like to spoil things, but that Redstone torch hall is very very suspicious if you ask me. I've never seen it before, but it could be well, another player? 🙄🤔
you deserve more likes bro good info for beginners and experienced players chad
I wouldn't use gold gear to reset enchantments, gold is rarer then iron and iron armor resets it. Gold can be used to barter and for dealing with a certain group. The reason gold gear isn't worth enchanting is actually not its durability but the fact it is as effective as wood/stone if I remember right. No enchantment can offset this.
@@Buglin_Burger7878im pretty sure that if you enchant with gold stuff. The next enchantment has higher chance of being something better. At least thats what ive heard

This is genuinely one of my favorite Minecraft playthroughs I've seen, and that's saying something considering there's 10 years of content out there. The mod plus your vague familiarity with the game recreates the unsureness of what's unusual and what isn't that a dedicated Minecraft RUclipsr couldn't do. 8:52 this is tied to a mechanic called saturation, think of it as a second hidden hunger bar. It has to deplete first (it depletes for the same reasons as normal hunger) before your hunger will start going down, and will rapidly deplete to heal you. The more saturation you have, the faster you can heal. Different foods give different amounts, and its why with foods like carrots, you feel like you have to eat them constantly (they give a very low amount of saturation) but with steak, you can go a while without eating again (they give a lot).
Some examples of food:
cooked porkchop and steak - 8 hunger - 12.8 saturation
cooked salmon - 6 hunger - 9.6 saturation
bread - 5 hunger - 6 saturation
carrot - 3 hunger - 3.6 saturation
golden carrot - 6 hunger - 14.4 saturation
then theres the special case of mushroom stew thats made with a dandelion, which gives you "suspicious stew" with the status effect of saturation, which makes it max out your saturation bar with 21.2.
also for a later part in the video, aqua affinity allows you to mine/dig underwater at normal speeds.
even playing minecraft all these years i wasnt sure how saturation worked, thanks for the tips!
I think the saturation bar cant surpass the food bar, correct me if im wrong
Yea it was actually a very smart way to not let a player simply get the easiest types of food and easily go through the entire game with them.

33:12 Bamboo and Moss are MASSIVELY useful items. Moss can be used to clear away huge amounts of stone from caves and expose ore veins. Bamboo can be crafted into scaffolding blocks that can be placed in an interesting way and used to get up high quickly.
Also, bamboo is getting a lot of new block types in 1.20 really soon. It’s easy to get a lot of it with farming, so it’s a good option for boats and other expendable items such as stairs.
god, bamboo planks et al are the 1.20 feature i'm most excited for by far; they're just so much easier to farm than trees
@@LepidoliteMica Librarian strikes me as the type to be very excited to use an actual bamboo raft. I would love to see his reaction to that!

Hey Librarian, I dunno if anyone said anything about the nether "trees" in the last video, but nether wood is also fireproof, second thing, sadly the fletching table still doesn't have a use, and third, the smithing table is used to upgrade your gear from diamond to netherite :)
I love how Lib took the Amogus comments to heart and fully went with it.
"And I won't be elaborating on the science of that."
I feel the fog could be thicker.
Currently, the fog looks like a wall.
There has to be a mod to control how you want your fog to be. I heard sodium plus could help, if you run on fabric.
There should be a mod that add's the alpha minecraft fog
theres a shader for it
There is definitely a mod for that. I found one for my Pocket Edition world so I’d say there’s probably at least like a hundred for PC worlds lol
Idk about one that lets you have control over the fog but I know there's one called Fog Looks Good Now which makes fog look better
To add on. You can backup and save the world.
That deadpan explanation of the house's design was hilarious 😂
This series has really been helping me through a terrible illness, it’s such a chill experience with your narration and laidback gameplay.
Cow person in a yellow raincoat has got to be the funniest description of a minecraft creepypasta character I’ve ever heard
Hey librarian! I believe the moon comment is about an ARG-esque series of Minecraft videos about someone testing a myth about staring at the moon.
Funnily enough, I do think there is a screenshot on the mod page with two moons, so it's also possible that lunar events can indeed occur.
Hey librarian, you can craft a boat with a chest for storage during sea exploration. Just wanted to let you know!
Pro tips: You can crouch on Magma Blocks to negate the damage. This works underwater. :)
The more you expend to enchant a tool, the greater the chances of stronger or more enchants in one go.
Getting the Pillager's attention and letting the others friendly fire the banner holder will leave you free to not deal with the Bad Omen effect.
The Smithing Table is used to upgrade Diamond tools and armor to Netherite. Netherite is found in lower levels in the Nether (similarly to Diamonds) and must be smelted into scrap, then four of them placed in ancrafting grid with four gold ingots makes one Netherite ingot. When combined with a diamond piece, all enchants and renames via Anvil are kept.
Kelp/Bamboo are great sources of fuel as well, but you have to smelt kelp first. Bamboo grows like sugar cane, but without the three block tall limit, and it can be used straight away.
i did not expect the house reveal to crack me up so hard. this is the greatest let’s play series ever lol
i love watching you discover new mechanics and aspects of the game.
Watching this series is super comfy, I hope this turns into a long-running series.
Zephyr the Jester has a similar series without the spooks, just a blind playthrough with someone who played in the betas
Hooooly hell that part at the end with the moon was absolutely perfect. It actually scared me. Not startled, no, I actually got scared. Perfectly executed horror.
The Workshop Blocks Usage:
Blast Furnace - Smelts ore faster
Smoker - Cooks meat faster
Campfire - Cooks meat slowly, but without needing fuel
Stonecutter - Crafts any variety of the stone type placed, also crafts stuff like stairs with less material than normal crafting
Smithing Table - Upgrades diamond tools/armor to netherite
Grindstone - Unenchant enchanted items for xp
Composter - turns natural material into bonemeal
Loom - used for coloring banners (kinda useless)
Fletching table - literally useless (except for villagers)
That's about it, hope that helps!
it's kind of nice seeing a person experience updates for the first time :)
your channel is what youtube should be like! thank you for your work
its nice to finally see a channel that isnt insane at building and doesnt know everything about the game, makes it a lot more fresh
This has become my favorite series on RUclips, keep up the good work :)
27:30
"Aw, you idiot"
*instanty falls for the exact same thing*
I'm glad you're continuing this series. It's rather nice.
Can we talk about how he basically relived his childhood story?
He goes into a forest, starts mining in a cave, finds a herobrine stripmine, makes his way out and sees a burning forest in the distance.
38:41 Gold is much more valuable now in trades with the Pigmen. Throwing an ingot at a piglin will cause it to give you an item of random value back in trade. Some items are really useful.
i was WONDERING if you'd run into a pre-dug mine! i've always been fascinated by the whole "2x2 stripmine lit with redstone torches" stuff from the herobrine lore, though my heart jumped into my throat when you actually came across it! i just found your channel, but i am adoring this series, and i'm excited to look into your other things as well.
its really cool to see someone playing such a seamless mod, especially when you're not privy to a lot of the current minecraft mechanics.
also i love your house a ton, very good to egg him into burning it, and just that :P
what time does he find it?
this series honestly fills me with a lot of nostalgia, i feel the joyous whimsy and comfort i had when i watched old minecraft survival lets play series back in 2010-2011 and its honestly so amazing
it's so nice seeing someone who doesn't know that much about modern Minecraft play it, it almost makes it feel like i am reliving when i first played the game
I’ve honestly been loving this series so far!
what a nice faceless goblin at 14:22, they look so friendly!
The fletching table was promised a function back in 1.14 but they've never delivered on it ever since. You can still use them as a villager trading station, which is very useful, because fletchers sell you emeralds for literal sticks.
“Somethink wierd about the house idk what you are getting at “ made me laugh so hard
the fact that he even makes the windows look like the among us visor i feel like is too coincidental to be an accident 💀
Hey man, I've recently discovered your channel ("recently" being a few months ago) and I've found your content extremely relaxing. I've never really played Garry's Mod or watched videos about it but you introduced me to it, and I really love just watching content about it because it's so interesting how people have that nostalgic happiness while playing it. I absolutely adore all the liminal space and nostalgic vibes most of your videos have, even when it's creepy it still feels comfortable, and your voice is really smooth to go with the content. Have a great day, and keep up the amazing work!
Edit: amongus
I think its nice that there is downtime and time for you to explain and talk about things. It's interesting to hear you talk about stuff from your childhood, about the game and just random stuff in general. I really like this series! Keep it up!
He has to know what he's doing with his house
😭😭😭
At first I didn’t think so, now when he gave his “reasoning” on how he built his house, he totally did it on purpose
i can't believe the librarian spoiled Gilligan's Island like that.
You’re house is honestly beautiful now and extremely effective at daring him to destroy it (very intimidating) ;)
I love this series because it's so fun to see someone grow in Minecraft.
Nostalgia.
And the fact that the ghosts always get more "agressive" due to the updates
The real horror is the fact that your house looks kinda sus
This series proves you don't need jumpscares to be shitting your pants
"I gotta be more careful" he says, while refusing to craft a shield because off hand items are cursed.
I admire the decision lol
I love that the way he acknowledged the among shaped house was to make it among colored too.
I could hear him stuttering when he glances over at the houses front (the among us house is the scariest part of the whole series)
The amongus house was the second highlight of my day, with the first highlight being a new upload in this series
Well done, Librarian, two episodes of mining and building to reveal the most cursed punchline!
Anyway, love this series, Minecraft is really the embodiment of comfort and creepy and you is a cherry on top)
really hoping this series stretches into dozens of episodes eventually, these are the perfect balance of funny, ‘comfy, and creepy’
You should get OptiFine and set the fog distance to 0.2 for the 2010 fog.
