Hey librarian, since you mentioned netherite, you actually do not need to craft tools with it, you can upgrade your current diamond tools with only 1 netherite ingot. It also keeps your enchantments. but it only works in the smithing table.
He also definitely needs to get those tools enchanted with mending _at the very least_ before he does too, imo? -I've pretty much always had my gear fully enchanted before turning it into netherite tools, so if I'm wrong about this bit, someone please feel free to correct me― but don't the costs for repairing those tools get much more expensive after they've been converted? (I know it takes a long time until they break anyway, but still.)-
@@itisamystery.5090 i dont think netherite changes the repair cost, only repairing the same thing many times changes the repair cost to the point that it gets too expensive. upgrading a clean piece of diamond armor to netherite is actually an advantage (although i dont know why you would have clean diamond gear while you have netherite) because netherite gear has more enchantability than diamond
Hey, Librarian, I mentioned that couple of episodes later, but i really suggest you to make a fletching Table and place it in your village, because Fletcher Villager will eliminate all your problems with arrows And also, thank you for another great episode Edit: Considering you found that new village by the sea shore, and locals definitely committed some act of questionable morals taking into account nether portal, i suggest to call this village "Innsmouth"

This stuff really gets your mind flowing Lol
Using the portals as fast travel would make sense, since the Nether was inspired by "The Ways" from the Wheel of Time books, which were basically exactly that - portals to a dimension where travel distance is shortened, which has become dangerous since the days when ancient people used it to connect cities.

I kind of like the aesthetic of some of the ghosts appearing mangled and glitched out. Not only does it feel like a step forward in the progress of the haunting where the ghost's forms are starting to break down in a way that makes them all the more uncanny, but it also helps further the idea that these beings aren't supposed to be in this game. It's as if the game has become corrupted due to them manifesting within it and that reflects in their appearances. I wish that was made into an actual feature.
10:10 The strider closest to you (on the right) seems to already posses* a saddle, so you could take that one. Note that to control them (similar to riding pigs) you need a Warped Fungus on a Stick, which you craft by combining a Fishing Rod and a Warped Fungus (the blue one).
Just kinda thought about the whole three pillars angle, you have Liberty, and Justice, for the third pillar you have Knowledge. Quite fitting for The Librarian. Knowledge, Liberty, and Justice. The three powers combining to "fight" the Darkness within the world. (Definitely not appease and or conquer the Darkness)
Hey bro, if you want to "zoom" the map you have to make a cartographer table which you need 2 paper and 4 wooden blocks , also to zoom to map you need to put your map in the table and then put a paper , and you can repeat the process till the map gets very big
that long corridor with all the doorways on either side would be perfect for a Scooby Doo style chase sequence where they're running between all the doors
I think it would be interesting to make a big huge room just filled with torches, lanterns, and doors. Every now and again you could visit it to see if there are any changes. (Torches removed, Lanterns changed, Doors opened)
Fun fact: The suspicious stew doesn't cause a random effect, it's causes the effect based on the flower it's made with. randomly found stews do have a random effect, but it is consistent. You can make sus stew with any flower, it's somewhat cheaper than a potion but lasts lesser than base effects.
A fun tip, you can give Liberty a new friend if you use a Jukebox near her, and give her an Amethyst Shard while she's dancing near it! She will proceed to duplicate into another Allay!
Could name the new village after Innsmouth, another lovecraft town because it’s seemingly near the ocean monument just like how the town in the story was near an underwater civilization
Curse of vanishing, what a painful delight. It will make your weapon look simply ravishing, but keep it in your sight, it makes death much more danaging.
You wouldn't even understand how happy I am to have seen this video. i have been itching for some good content all day on YT, and low and behold, the man, the myth, THE LEGEND, The Librarian uploads. blessed I am.
There once was a man, who ruled over this land. He was the seeker of truth, speaker of stories, and the Lord of Knowledge. He was known, as Librarian. His right hand friend was a slave turned free woman, guider of lights and warrior of the dark. Her name, Liberty. Finally, a companion of smooth, pink skin. Swimmer of the Deep and the Witness of Dark Entities, was Justice. These three rules the fair lands, making dark entities angry with each success. Whether it be a simple voyage or a successful crop. This, is the story called From the Fog.
I love this series so much!! I'm glad I found it on the first episode so I could actually grow to love this series instead of binging it in a day and forgetting about it later. I have things to look forward to now and I can actually get excited when a new episode drops!! I've been playing minecraft for years but i needed a new feeling from it because it had began to bore me. This was just that! Thank you Librarian and thank you for featuring my fan art!! That really meant a lot :) Can't wait for episode 10! You make me wanna play minecraft on my headset :))
this s such a good episode, you should make splash potions of healing for liberty so she doesn't die, to make it you need 1 nether wart, and 1 glistering melon and 1 gunpowder
Hey Librarian: Important Tip: Do not unsneak around Sculk-Sensors! If you're sneaking you can use jumping to go up blocks and jump off a ledge onto a lower block, this will not activate them.
I have an idea for the village's name. Keeping withthe Lovecraftian theme, I think Innsmouth would be a good name. It's a seaside town, clearly struggling even though (with librarian's arrival) business is clearly doing extremely well. On top of that, the inhabitants are obviously mingling with otherworldly forces as evidenced by the nether portal. Anyways, I think it's a good idea. Thanks for taking the time to read❤
You could try using glas or holes in the wall (either empty spaces or half slabs/stairs) in your containment chamber to try out if the ghosts appear if you can see them through glas, and/or dissapear once you do.
You've gone so below but only touched that just above. Where the cave walls glow with starlight, those before you have laid forth the wealth you so love.
litterally couldnt of had a better time for an upload for me I'm loving the series and really enjoying binge watching your other content. I enjoyed the hog hunting game.
the containment hall thing the librarian made REALLY reminds me of the plush trap minigame from fnaf 4, with all those corridors and corners for it to slide behind, Is it just me that thought that?
I'm amazed that nobody has informed Librarian that his farm is set up super inefficiently yet. Have been waiting for him to realize that water spreads 4 blocks in tilled soil and not just 1.
It's fascinating watching someone making literal nightmare maze for summoning demons with a goal of "seeing a ghost". Now that's how legendary places are made that people tell tales of generations after
Omg watching the series and the mod evolve and change is an amazing thing. It's like being able to watch a game develop from humble starts to the final in depth product
The footsteps in the Brewing Cave is especially creepy considering that's like right under where the Broken Steve Model ran behind the tree. This series has made me slightly paranoid about spending too long with my head bent down over a chest or a crafting table. Edit: The pure joy in your voice experiencing VR for this game was amazing. I also didn't realize just how early in the mod's development cycle, and the Dweller/modding phenomena in trend, this series was made. I'm so glad I came back to it.
I love this character arc of Librarian just slowly going mad with the idea of manipulating his home to taunt the ghosts and bend them to his will... Super great series. :)
This episode proves that THE LIBRARIAN is the king of horror content. After the ghost attempted to hurt liberty bro spun back and made a whole area for them to "hash" things out. He literally invited the ghost in his home as if saying I DARE YOU. He introduces to demons what hell really is. That bit where he explained that he made the corridors to lure the ghosts in will never not be badass
Hey Librarian, just letting you know that maybe it's time to consider using Swords if you prefer agility and speed over raw damage, even more when taking into account the extra enchantments a Sword can have over an Axe.
Your genuine wonder is such a refresher to me. Seeing you play this series makes me weirdly happier than most content I see these days. Love you librarian, your a great person I can imagine
It pained me to see you did not see the Big Gray Pufferfish's drop. When you slayed it, the loot went up the roof, but you did not see it. That loot was precious and unique.
I'm proud of you, you've honestly come so far since the start. I love seeing you progress like this, it's amazing! Busting into a Nether fortress and then taking down an ocean monument, those are huge feats!!
I was really hoping to see Librarian confront the Warden in VR. What with it being a consequence free run and all that, might as well run face first into the scariest thing in the game
i know that this might make the save get corrupted but it would be really fun to see the crash mechanic when there is only about 10 mins left for the video to end a really spooky way the end the videos or a little spice for the last jumpscare

@@chinkram ur too simple u should keep learning ur whole life
@@chinkram this feature has been a thing for like 5 years or something its not very new
@@chinkram I don't judge you , minecraft used to be harder and simpler back then
Two videos in less than 10 seconds gotta love it
This is probably gonna be a popular comment
But yeah early too
I can see "Not now Herobrine, I'm fishing" as a great T-Shirt
I can't wait to see every jumpscare from this series in the next Scare Reel
that long corridor with all the doorways on either side would be perfect for a Scooby Doo style chase sequence where they're running between all the doors
Loved the way the chamber works as a ghost hunting environment that tracks paranormal activity through your own mundane knowledge! So smart
I think it would be interesting to make a big huge room just filled with torches, lanterns, and doors.
Every now and again you could visit it to see if there are any changes. (Torches removed, Lanterns changed, Doors opened)
The Librarian is going full Sarah Winchester now, build rooms onto his house to interact with ghosts....
Librarian slowly becoming insane arc is becoming an reality
Fun fact: The suspicious stew doesn't cause a random effect, it's causes the effect based on the flower it's made with. randomly found stews do have a random effect, but it is consistent. You can make sus stew with any flower, it's somewhat cheaper than a potion but lasts lesser than base effects.
A fun tip, you can give Liberty a new friend if you use a Jukebox near her, and give her an Amethyst Shard while she's dancing near it! She will proceed to duplicate into another Allay!
I hope he finds the secret of the Deep Dark. Also you can make a chest boat.
2:19 Are the ghosts changing? They weren’t able to walk away and disappear like that before
Yup new update.
@@toothyjarl Oh no…
He said in the beginning of the video there was an update to the mod.
You wouldn't even understand how happy I am to have seen this video. i have been itching for some good content all day on YT, and low and behold, the man, the myth, THE LEGEND, The Librarian uploads. blessed I am.
1:00:31 this series only seems to be getting crazier with these VR segments. It also looks like the mod got updated too
Dudes updating the mod just to mess with him lmao
Yeah as he said at the start the mod was massively updated
The creator watches the series
“Don’t dig down, but, if you do, call me!
Better Call Justice!”
im going to be honest i love the industrialisation and the busywork its cool watching a trading company form within the librarian empire.
"Last time they snuck upon us" The librarian said calmly
I love this series so much!! I'm glad I found it on the first episode so I could actually grow to love this series instead of binging it in a day and forgetting about it later. I have things to look forward to now and I can actually get excited when a new episode drops!! I've been playing minecraft for years but i needed a new feeling from it because it had began to bore me. This was just that! Thank you Librarian and thank you for featuring my fan art!! That really meant a lot :) Can't wait for episode 10! You make me wanna play minecraft on my headset :))
Thanks for making the fa
Thanks for making the fa
1:09:59 The scariest apparition so far, it’s form strikes fear into my very soul...
Stalked by hoes.
Just... A bunch of hoes... Yeah it's really odd lol
Indeed.
I honestly jumped in fright at the part about the Enderman and the sign.
As someone binge watching this, it really feels like a villain arc when he says things like "you've been annexed"
this s such a good episode, you should make splash potions of healing for liberty so she doesn't die, to make it you need 1 nether wart, and 1 glistering melon and 1 gunpowder
Hey Librarian: Important Tip: Do not unsneak around Sculk-Sensors!
If you're sneaking you can use jumping to go up blocks and jump off a ledge onto a lower block, this will not activate them.
47:34 I love the idea of an evil and merciless ruler whose closest confidants r a happy little fairy and a small axolotl 😌
He actually shows up twice really fast, you missed one at 46:43 on the right side of the Screen underneath the Axe
4:48 European settlers finding the Americas
This is going in such a cool direction. He went from fearful, to curious.
I love how much fun you were having being able to wave you’re arms at the villagers in vr. Something they definitely have trouble doing themselves
You could try using glas or holes in the wall (either empty spaces or half slabs/stairs) in your containment chamber to try out if the ghosts appear if you can see them through glas, and/or dissapear once you do.
That headpat to liberty in vr was so good lol
45:13
I love how Herobrine made an air pocket with his redstone torch
Tried to spook the player, but actually gave a space to breath in emergency
You've gone so below but only touched that just above. Where the cave walls glow with starlight, those before you have laid forth the wealth you so love.
Was not expecting a from the fog vid today, also you have gotten so much subscribers these past few weeks! great work man!
litterally couldnt of had a better time for an upload for me I'm loving the series and really enjoying binge watching your other content. I enjoyed the hog hunting game.
the containment hall thing the librarian made REALLY reminds me of the plush trap minigame from fnaf 4, with all those corridors and corners for it to slide behind, Is it just me that thought that?
its called fun with plushtrap
I'm amazed that nobody has informed Librarian that his farm is set up super inefficiently yet. Have been waiting for him to realize that water spreads 4 blocks in tilled soil and not just 1.
If the new village near the big puddle won't be named Innsmouth, i will riot
58:03 truly an out of bobby experience
26:09 "I need your flesh." Yet another sentence I never expected Librarian to say. XD
1:05:05 him screaming or yelling whatever that was scared me half to death I didn't God didn't expect that to happen.
*walks into village* "You have been annexed"
This series is better than most stuff on mainstream services
12:10 Skeletons spawn naturally in the soul sand biome. You’re lucky the one you found was enclosed. Ghasts also spawn more there.
10:22 THE STRIDER ALREADY HAS A SADDLE ON IT….
It’s natural. Zombie pigmen ride Striders
I definitely recommend exploring more Deep darks! Don't wanna spoil much but in some there's something that you would absolutely " enjoy "
this series is starting to remind me of StampyLongHead’s old minecraft videos with plots and characters, but a lot creepier
The scary vids with the most chill voice I gotta admit you are my favorite RUclipsr I have been watching you for 2 years
Shoutout to roofing ghost, gotta be one of my favorite characters.
This is like a arg, guy finds creapy thing, he study the creepy thing, the creepy things is more that we thought and start to wreak havoc.
4:47 "You have been annexed" Best sentence I've ever heard
I have rescued 8 allay and definitely are going to name one of them Liberty after watching your series for so long
I love this character arc of Librarian just slowly going mad with the idea of manipulating his home to taunt the ghosts and bend them to his will...
Super great series. :)
Okay- I am loving this series but the fan art is just *chef's kiss*!
Tip: Its rare, but in some bastions you can find netherite, you'll know its the right one by the big gold pile in the center of the bastion
Oh the Guardians? They drop these things which you can make a block from.
Big Gray Pufferfish; that’s called in elder guardian and their drops aren’t too unique like nether stars but the do drop sponges
finally, something new to tide me over while i work on my paper. keep up the great work! :D
2:16 now normally i would look at it and have no reaction since it just disappears, BUT THIS TIME IT MOVED OH GOD
I'm proud of you, you've honestly come so far since the start. I love seeing you progress like this, it's amazing! Busting into a Nether fortress and then taking down an ocean monument, those are huge feats!!
The librarian is making the Winchester house.
I was really hoping to see Librarian confront the Warden in VR. What with it being a consequence free run and all that, might as well run face first into the scariest thing in the game
10:22 the strider has a saddle already on it
The Librarian has entered his SCP Foundation Era
A village with an abandoned church and an attempt to create a portal to hell? Definitively not suspicious.
i know that this might make the save get corrupted but it would be really fun to see the crash mechanic when there is only about 10 mins left for the video to end a really spooky way the end the videos or a little spice for the last jumpscare
I always look forward to the next episodes 🥰
