Definitely the best DIY squat rack. I was able to make the frame in one day with the help of your very clear plans. All I have to do is just the barbell holders and safety bars.
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
Un gran trabajo. Me va a ser muy difícil a mi llevarlo a cabo por falta de herramientas, pero me da gran idea de los materiales y como empezarlo poco a poco. Muchas gracias!
@@martinmojsovski6064 Easy, look at 19:32 Instead of a square tube on the top front facing you you can make it a pullup bar. Another option is to weld the Pullup bar handles onto the top member facing you at 19:32.
Nice work. It must be great having the space and resources to build almost anything. I've been wanting to learn to weld since the American Chopper days. If I knew someone that had a shop I'd pay them to do all the cutting and welding then truck it home for assembly. But then I would still have to get a bar and enough plates for 90% of a 1RM. That would be expensive.
Seriously, I can't even saw and drill 2-3 holes evenly. That just a 1-inch square tubing. Perfect Job btw!!! But, can you be my neighbor for a week? Please!
Excellent work. Similar to powertec brand should include also a lat pulldown mechanism into the build. All in all full 10 stars. Keep up the good work.
excellent video, I have the tools and skills to make my own rack, but for lack of time I better decided to buy a used MR-6 but in excellent condition, I'm not regret for the price.
im designing one but it has 3 pillars, two both side and one behind to hold the lat pulldown machine, like a triangle formation, im wondering if i can go with 50x50x2mm since im not doing extreme workout with weight over 100kg or something
As I am being 3D professional modeler, I always dreamed of making my own power rack at my home. But I don't have such skills to build real one like this man. Thanks for the video
Question real good build but is there away I know it’s going to be a stupid question but is there away to make a custom attachment for lat pulley system on a power rack already made that didn’t come with one say the cross pully and lat pulley? I currently have the one you buy from amazon but it’s the ones you tie the weights to and I have to use my Olympic bar and tie straps to it wanted to have something to where like you do with the j hooks but it’s to where you can just latch your pulley system to at any angles?
It's one of my hobbies. My profession is software production. My other hobbies are fitness, hiking, biking, knife forging, bow and arrow making. I made the whole house, interior design, furniture, yard, and workshop by myself. I love working with my hands.
hey there thats a woderfull fabrication you did there me and my dad could probably pull it off he is a fitter and i am a welder i rely would like to build something like that since they ar so expensive
great workmen ship and video how did you get your dimensions available or cut list, hole sizes and spacings ? this is still fairly new to this maybe I've over looked it other than in video passing 🤔 thanks in advance
Thanks for sharing the detailed plans. Very generous of you. Unlike others, who make us pay for it. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment.

I'd just add a pull up bar on there.
Hello, i just want to ask. If u add a pull up bar, where will u put it and how will u change the design? Thanks

@@martinmojsovski6064 say you copied this completely and it the same width as other racks, just buy a pull up bar attachment and tap holes.

You can always make weight plates out of concrete!! 😅 it would be much cheaper.. $4 for an 80 lb bag here in the US..
