it’s really easy even for a relatively weak person to apply pressure on a choke with proper technique, he would have his whole leg drive, his core bracing him and the leverage of his weight properly applied which is one of the first things you learn in grappling, while being heavier and bigger was definitely not that exerting of his capability.

Wrong. I’ve seen fighters with better IQs who didn’t need their corner to solve the puzzle of a difficult opponent for them. In boxing Salvador Sanchez was a master at making adjustments during the course of a bout and setting traps to manipulate his opponents into making costly mistakes. And as far as MMA goes, Anderson Silva and GSP were elite high IQ champions in their primes.

Lyota timing jones long ass kicks with a punch and many mma fighters still dont understand kicking range is punching range. Keep that in mind if u find urself in a street fight with a boxer. That wide stance of a boxer may make him susceptible to a leg kick, but it also allows him to close the distance faster. And chances are, the boxer is much better at that than you. Fight smart, train hard.

@@wcc4269 then why is he ducking Tom Aspinall. He's making it sound like he might never even fight Aspinall. He wants to fight 42 year old Miocic, or Pereria who's the LHW champ with only 1 defense instead of the interim champ in his own division. The whole point of interim champ is to say "The champ is out, so this guy is acting as champ. When the champ is back, we'll see who the real one is." But Jones said fuck that he doesn't wanna fight the interim champ for why????? Because he's scared he'll take his first (real) loss

tested positive twice in his career, once for a party drug that had traces of a ped because of bad labour and a dickpill from the gas station one week prior, both dosis so small it wouldntve tested positive with todays usada standards.
measuring distances for fighters with long arms is extremely common and jones has the longest arms in the ufc, eye pokes allow you to take a break as long as you want and your opponent gets potentially points deducted, i watched all of jones fights he barely ever poked eyes, the only time he abused it was against rampage but it was more mental warfare. people never wanna complain about the rules, only about jon. and when i watched that trilogy of miocic and cormier which had a lot of eye pokes, everybody forgets about it the next day.
