Sully going absolutely insane accusing Blair & Tom, and somehow tricking Jon- WHO SAW THAT THE CHEESE WAS STILL THERE- is just brilliant.
You always expect these things to go swimmingly, and then INSANITY ERUPTS
Jon convincing himself that Blair and Tom did it despite waking up after and seeing the cheese was still there was an unmentioned bit of beauty
When Sully and Laurie woke up I rewound the video to check and thought ‘have either of them checked if the cheese is there?’ And rest assured Sully beefed it twice in a row, fantastic stuff
To be fair, Sully was trying to do the narration and was relying on Laurie who woke up at the same time as him. That mix up was more on Laurie! At least Tom knew the cheese was already gone when he woke up with Sully! Watching it back, they both focused so much on seeing each other awake, that neither looked towards the cheese at all! 😂
It's really interesting to watch lol. It looks like Laurie was about to check the cheese: he tilts his head down, but before he actually looks at it Sully says "Look around, see if there are any other mice", and then he responds to that and looks around again.
My favourite part is tom's I'm not angry, just disappointed face after the 2nd game

@@miclowgunman1987 genuinely, watching that upset me. The fact that Sully so effectively covered for Adam by just filling the discussion with noise... had I been playing that game and was one of the three who woke up with him, I would have left the room in search of duct tape...
@@miclowgunman1987 It is times like this where I expect orderly discussion, but the thief can't win with orderly discussion.
If I am a sleepy mouse, I would demand calm and orderly discussion, not chaos.
I want Tom and Sully to travel the English countryside together solving crimes.
But they always accuse the wrong person and make an even bigger mess of everything.

Honestly had me laughing out loud when they said the cheese was still there at 2. Literally the only objective of the game is to know whether the cheese is there or not 😂

Sully being too busy staring deeply into Tom's eyes to actually play the game is an incredible moment.
I just appreciate Adams face at 20:05 of simply genuine puzzlement at the ineptitude of his friends
Okay, but the fact that Tom was able to correctly guess the cheese thief twice in a row right off the bat just by “reading them,” is impressive
This was the first social deduction game I played with my parents. Dad didn't understand the concept of someone was playing as a thief and he stole the cheese for shits and giggles. Confused the hell out of everyone especially because I watched him do it! One of the funniest memories I have
The insane amount of chemistry between Sully and Tom just drive this game to perfection

I thought Adam was screwed when 3 people knew each other were innocent, and the other 2 saw Adam woke up last, and that’s when the cheese was stolen. Plus touching the arm. But wow, nice job Sully for once!
Tom's face when he realized who he was going to have to support was just priceless. I died laughing.

This was such delightful Chaos.
Sully and Laurie being a complete mess.
Laurie literally having PROOF it was Adam 2 times, but just not speaking up. No idea, how Adam got away with this.
Jon getting fooled despite literally being accidently touched by Adam.
Blair being gaslighted and thrown under the bus.
Tom just being disappointed by the chaos unfolding. Lol.
Jon also literally SAW the cheese and believed the people before him stole it 🤣
This game is a prime example of the fallibility of eye witness testimony.
These in-person Board Game Clubs really elevate the series to another level. Really loving the silly antics with the whole crew together. Hoping to see an obnoxiously long, epically massive board game on here at some point, something along the lines of an Arkham Horror. Or my all time favorite board game, Betrayal at House on the Hill

I'd love to see these folks playing The King's Dilemma. I think the individual personalities, combined with a Game of Thrones-esque legacy game, could make for some excellent situations.
Can we appreciate how smart tom is in the last round for not backing up sully to make it look as if he has no follower so that others wouldn't suspect him, but it is sully so of course he's gonna fuck it up 😅😅😅😅😅😅
To be fair, he did what he could. This game seems unbalanced at best due to the dice rolling.

I think Tom might still be exhibiting the cosmic power of patience. It’s the only explanation I can come up with for him not screaming after round 2
Sully woke up and chose chaos on the day that this was filmed, and it was superbly entertaining.
On the second round I said to myself “Sully hasn’t looked at the cheese again”. It didn’t even occur to me that Laurie wouldn’t look at it either

So, I am fairly new to this channel. I enjoy it so far. One of my favorite parts is how easily Sully can be gaslit into almost anything if enough people shout at him.
Sullivan is the definition of chaotic neutral in almost any game.

I'm on my third time watching this and it's only been out for a day. I cannot get over how hilarious this is, keep up the good work guys, Board Game Club is absolutely the highlight of the week.
Laurie's lie on the first round was magnificent.

Another comment, because another exciting idea popped into my head. What if some day we get a multi-episode series of a legacy game like Pandemic or Betrayal Legacy? That could be some incredibly exciting long-term content

@@MindOfGenius I've played a few legacy games with my game group, and Betrayal is hands down my favorite. From the phenomenal twists and turns, to the lore connections to the OG game (which is my all time favorite board game), it's just a 10 out of 10 experience for me.
This game/episode is the most hilarious one on NRB and Boardgame Club by far thanks to all the "Cheese-blindness" that happened. The second round kills me! 😂 I love that I can rewatch this again and again when I need a laugh! Please play this game again. ❤️

This game is beautifully simple and I'm all for it
It's so simple, you don't even need the game. You need a d6 for each person, a cup to cover it with, a random thing to steal, and a handful of cards that you could make yourself or use playing cards to determine the thief each round.
I'm 10 minutes in and this is my 2nd favorite game after Blood on The Clocktower. Adam does it again! This crew is da best!
This is the most fun I've had watching a board game club on this channel to date. I'm so jealous I don't have the opportunity to do this with other people.
My dog absolutely FROZE when Blair made mouse noises. He loved it. It was the RUclips version of his favorite toy!
