Wow, new to your channel! I enjoyed your adventures. New subscriber here! I visited that place as well few weeks back. Keep safe and hope to get connected.
I was there last week for the crab fried rice and Tom Yum Soup at Flying Pig and hopped over to the stall opposite for some Moo Ping (grilled pork on skewers) and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert!
Suggest visiting the Golden Mile Hawker Centre just opposite Golden Mile Complex for many good food. Recommendation - Yew Chuan Claypot Rice at # 01-73.
"HAPPY BOXING DAY!!!" Glad that you went to "little Thailand". Even though one can't actually go to Thailand (due to the inconvenience of actually travelling while having the pandemic situation) one can still try the cuisine and experience the sound/smell of the country by going to Golden Mile Complex. There is also a "Little Philippines" inside Lucky Plaza which is closer to your home, mainly on the upper floors. You will know by the amount of Philippines people milling around on Sunday. If you fancy a bit of France, try going to Serangoon Garden Estate (Fun fact: Road names of Serangoon Garden Estate are name of places in UK). It's becoming a bit of France due to the close proximity of French International School and quite a number of French people residing in and around the place. There is even a mini-French Boutique that specializes in cheeses and a bakery.
We go to Lucky Plaza quite often since it is so close. Haven't done a video there but probably should. Funny how the things very near to where we live I don't do many videos on because they seem so normal an boring compared to things I have to travel further to!
Wow wow wow! Nice trip to little Thailand! Awesome! So delightfully to both touring the entire architechtually unique complex . It's like being in Bangkok and having Thai food too . Of course shopping in Thai shops even I hope you both do another visit and remember to visit the hawker centre there next time. Thanks for sharing! Wow wow wow 🥰🥰🥰
U know Singapore just like a mini United Nation of cuisine, u need not travel far just to taste close to authentic food from different country , and not to mention price is definitely cheaper than the States , Bon appetite 🤗
City Plaza in Paya Lebar is also known as ‘little Indonesia’ though not as authentic as ‘little Thailand’. It’s a hangout place especially for Indonesian domestic helpers during weekends.
U should tried banana and sweet potato ball fritters in front of the thai supermarket, super yummy, the lemon heather found is not a vitamin, its a dried freeze fruit
Very nice country Singapore olso beautiful a mall

You live 2 hours from Thailand by air.
Yes, unfortunately we haven't been able to get there! Covid restrictions :(
