I think they changed it, I bought it years ago and it's wool and cashmere. Also it looks more well-made than this one. I noticed the difference too in stores
One can do a burn test. It would require a tiny snippet of the material but that can be obtained from the seam allowance, if cut carefully. Burn test - on a white plate or glass plate light the sample on fire. Observe the smoke, smell. Then smudge the ashes. If it smells like burnt hair, it’s wool. Burnt paper is cotton. Burnt plastic is polyester. The ashes tell a lot too.
Suggestion for a well made coat that hangs nicely, shoulder seams fit the shoulders, the coat moves with you, long and low percent wool. I’m 5’1” so over-size is too much but I like long.
Because this is new version. I have one from years ago and it’s better quality. Same thing with agency blazers. Everyone will say the same thing that old agency blazer was way better.
Honestly I think the one you showcassed was badly made one since the one I bought is holding up well. The wool is 95% compared to Zara's woolblend with polyester. Also, the lining is cupro so it is material you are paying for. Stitching is very well done on the one I purchased during Cyber Monday. It may have been hit/miss with their wool coats

the black one was just as bad so..and it shouldnt be hot and miss. should be properly made across the board
