@@santiagoguevara8579 It doesn't matter where the idea came from. They went through with the idea and backed it not knowing how poorly it'd turn out. For the short term it did something for Nikki, but the fans arent behind this cringe gimmick in the long run.
@@august3787 so what you want is for the wrestler to do something they dont like just cuz you want something different, instead of giving them something like doing even if some people dont like it. in shorter words, you prefer that the wreslers do something were they can be misareble, instead of them enjoying what they want, Man wrestling fans really are the most toxic fans, in some cases even pathetic
@@santiagoguevara8579 Calling people toxic and pathetic is the least productive and mature thing anyone can do. Get off your high horse with this acceptance of her trying to pull off this gimmick and listen to the criticism. Constructive criticism against something can be a positive and you took it for was me tearing apart the wrestler. That was from talking about the REACTIONS she been getting, especially at house shows.
I'm not for superheroes or that stuff in pro wrestling as I haven't seen it done strongly outside of the Hurricane and to some extent Suicide as mid-card acts. I don't think her gimmick is executed well. Rather be ALMOST a superhero, just be a superhero, be confident, and show kids they can overcome things not this maybe/I could probably/I'm sure I can stuff. It doesn't come off as well as it could be. You don't have to be edgy or adult to make this gimmick work; I'm sure Ricochet could pull off the superhero thing if he had any ounce of charisma or better writing to help him because as a wrestler he's very capable and fitting for that role.
And if you want to make a gimmick for kids, you can do it without being so cringe it makes kids and adults want never see you. When I think of acts that have done well for kids I think of Rey Mysterio, NXT and early main roster Bayley, The New Day, John Cena in the pg era when people don't hate on him because its the cool thing to do, even Santino and R-Truth had their moments when they weren't overbearing. At times they're too silly or cringe for their own good, but the fans, kids and adults alike, have enjoyed them to not want to see them off their screens (again John Cena is divisive there because he had few adults that disliked him for what he became and a few others who disliked him because it was the cool thing to do but overall people like John Cena).
People did give it a chance in the first few weeks but in time the gimmick comes off lame with her "i think I can" little engine that could gets tiring especially when she's the WOMEN'S CHAMPION and she's proven she could do it. She shouldn't have to question herself everytime as she has the physical proof it even if she won it through money in the bank. You want to tell the story of her unable to get through that confidence hurdle because of how she did it then do so, but they stuck to this basic idea of her waning confidence and its just not good. I don't get why kids would back someone who's unconfident at the one thing they should do well at even after winning the big prize. Also that costume is hideous. The idea is good, but the execution overall isn't working.

Summerslam 2021 really pissed me off. Why, because Nikki lost the RAW womens title when she didnt to, worse she loses it to Charlotte who always seems to win main PPV matches, 2nd Belair loses the SD womens title in 27 seconds, WTF. Couldn't the Belair vs. Becky segment be used to hype up a match for the following PPV. It's like Vince wants to piss the fans off.

I find that the WWE platform is much too small to contain the personality and charisim of a lot of their talent. It makes them actually look worse when they are on RAW and Smackdown when you know what their potential is.
