Exactly the same case here! I still remember back in 2008, I was 15 and I started mixing my first songs and making youtube covers because of him! i still have a video on my harddrive that he did for me on purpose explaining how he used to mix in cubase ! ahah now 10 years later, i'm 25 and already have a degree in music production and i'm making a living as a producer. who knows if all that would have happen if I hadn't started watching his covers and if he had not helped me back then? life can really be a crazy rollercoaster and i'm glad Da Schef made part of that trip, even though he probably doesnt even remember me ! eheh

I'm not too much of a fan of "Battles" and "Siren Charms" either but it'd be nice if you could play some of the songs in "Sounds of a Playground Fading". I think that album is miles ahead of the other 2. Awesome to see you play again!

Wow. I'm the highway without the solo sounds so different. Never got to learning the rhythm section for the solo haha. And I totally agree they lost their (siren) charm after a sense of purpose. Some parts of sounds of a playground fading are decent but after that nah.
