Great reactions. :) Keep an eye on the map shown in the opening credits: two or three times each season a new location is shown when it's featured in the episode. (For example, the last location shown in episode 1 is Pentos, in episode 2+ it is replaced by Vaes Dothrak. But it'll be a few episodes before the next change.) Also: Khal is a title ... meaning tribal king. Khaleesi means tribal queen. And Kalasar means tribe.
You're doing great, thanks again! I think you're right about the King; he seems a reasonable person and he has humour (also self-mockery); but he doesn't like ruling, with all the politics. Regarding Sansa: she is annoying indeed, but she was also put in a difficult situation.
The fact that Robert's first reaction was "Children fight, it's over!" but he let himself get talked into punishing Arya because he just wanted the situation to be over is pretty much all you need to know about him. At heart he's a good man, he's just tired of being the king
A few more names for you to add to your notes if you like: Maester Luwin - a maester is a well educated wise advisor to a lord, usually old and dressed in grey robes with a big chain around their neck. Luwin is the maester for Winterfell and is the old guy seen talking to Cat in the godswood. Sandor Clegane - known best by his nickname "the Hound", he's the tall man with the facial scars who scared Sansa. He is Joffrey's bodyguard. Ser Jorah Mormont - the guy helping Dany through her change in lifestyle. He's an exile. Not many names here, but a lot of names to add in the next one! If you appreciate this I'll try to keep doing it when new people are introduced or become more prominent :)
I really like how you are taking it all in and not trying to talk over the dialog like some other reactors do, that is when they miss a lot of details believe me. You are doing great. 👍 Keep it up
The bastards of Westeros (children of noblemen born out of wedlock) get their family name according to the region they are from. Flowers: The Reach Hill: The Westerlands Pyke: The Iron Islands Rivers: The Riverlands Sand: Dorne Snow: The North Stone: The Vale of Arryn Storm: The Stormlands Waters: The Crownlands That´s why Jon Snow is named that way.
Awesome reaction! I'm so glad I've found your channel so early into the show, it gets even better further on Looking forward to your next reactions, you gained my sub! Also really hope you have someone to mod your comment section, with this series you'll attract many new people and there can be those who'll try to spoil stuff, this show relies on plot twists a lot so you don't want this to happen
This is a great show. I watched from the start and in do so I've laughed, cheered, cried and almost stopped watching many times. You fall in love with the characters want to see them succeed and for those you don't they can never suffer enough,...? or can they. I really hope you enjoy it as much as we all have
Sansa can not speak against the prince and possible future king who she’s meant to marry. Women are not allowed to that, it would cause her to gain a bad reputation and possibly ruin the plan of them being married. Mind you also women during this time were basically groomed to be timid and be nothing but the ideal lady. Sansa’s goal is to be queen and she understands what’s expected of her. The north is less strict on these rules, that’s why Arya grew up being more free spirited and able to do “men” things, Sansa did take more liking to the lady things & always been praised for it.
Just subscribed. Nice reactions to 1st 2 episodes. Looking forward to seeing more. Not sure if anyone has suggested so far, but doing something like a Love-Like-Hate board as would be interesting to see your views change on characters. Keep it up 😎👍x
Cat was only mean at that moment because she was grieving. Her relationship with Jon is just cold. She ignores him and that's all. It's fucked up still, but she never abused him. Of course, having the mother of the place where you live act like you don't even exist can scar you as well.
It would be very interesting if you have every episode top 5 love or hate characters. And keep those records - looking back at them as the show progresses - you'd be amazed!
The reaction is great. But the scene edits can be improved. GoT is a dialogue heavy drama, the character interactions are the most important parts. If you move too fast through these interactions, it just doesn't do them full justice. So my suggestion is this: you can keep more of a long scene by just blacking out the episode visuals at times (when not much physical action is going on), but keeping the dialogue of that part. That way you won't go over the fair use time, but we'll still get to see more of your reaction to that scene. Right now it feels like you're reacting to a montage, rushing from scene to scene jumping over important stuff.
This episode is a hard one to watch specifically because of what happens to Lady (and the fact that Arya had to make Nymeria leave), though it definitely shows us a bit of Joffrey's and Cersei's very unpleasant personalities. I think we actually learn a lot about all of the main characters in this episode. For example, though Jaime and Cersei might be prettier than Tyrion, we see here that Tyrion is generally a better person than either of them. And Jon is very naive. Sansa, too, for that matter. But Arya is a smart cookie, as is the oldest Stark boy, Robb. There is so much room for growth as the series progresses, and it will be a very exciting ride.
I have 3 reactors I subscribe to and you are one of them. The reason being is that you don't talk much...lol There's nothing more annoying than watching someone talking their heads off constantly and being so dramatic.😁👍 I'll put in my 2 cents when appropriate but you seem smart enough to figure it out and enjoy on your own.
thank you so much! :) and I try not to talk too much because I also can get annoyed sometimes when other reactors do it, I try to react to the episodes in about the same way I would if I wasn't in front of a camera
Sansa is quite annoying in the first season (she’s my favorite character lol) but you have to remember she’s only a 12 year old girl and I’m sure we were all annoying at 12. Plus she’s betrothed to Joffrey so she can’t say anything against him :(
Dont judge the characters too quickly.your right on a few like joffrey.some of the characters your only seeing through the eyes of another character.try to put yourself in the characters shoes and see if their actions dont make a bit more sense.also realise the time period.some things that dont fly today were kinda normal then.
Everyone ripped on King Robert in the first seasons which we all took back because despite being lazy and drunk alot, he's one of the nicer leaders on the show.
Jon and Rob are of the same age. Cat sees jon as a threat to her son's inheritance/lordship. As just one of the reasons she doesn't like him. Arya is pronounced as 'are ya'. As Cat pronounced it in the first episode. Like, are ya going to the store? Sophie Turner (Sansa) did an interview and spoke of how she was mostly unable to pronounce it. That is why she often says are-ee-ah.
I've watched a lot of reactions to got and I've only subscribed to this channel. That's because you don't talk all over the story with inane comments, like your trying to impress. Your following what's happening and feeling it. Like a genuine fan of good quality television. Quite unlike Natalie gold.

thank you so much! and I try to never talk over dialog, even with subtitles it super easy to miss something and I don't want that :)
@@haileyreacts Feel free to pause and share some thoughts when the scene requires it though.
@@haileyreacts yes and this show more than most is very dialogue heavy.no wasted lines here.
