I got some weight loss traction by swapping out peanut butter for PB2 powdered peanut butter and applesauce for maple syrup in my morning oatmeal. Your swaps and hacks cover so much more ground, I'll be impressing my doctor in no time!
I just bought PB2 natural with no sugar and no salt on Amazon. It's so yummy! And I can add stevia or erythritol if I want to make it sweet or a little Himalayan salt. If I want it a little salty. I like being able to control what I put in the peanut butter.😊
I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this but in the chickpea flour omelets if you swap regular salt with Himalayan Black Salt it will add that eggy flavor! I use it in many “egg” vegan dishes.
Nooch is life! Derek Sarno has a great video on seasoning nooch for different flavor profiles. Kala Namak/black salt makes tofu taste like eggs if you use it in a tofu scramble. Also, Miyoko Schinner the founder of Miyokos Creamery products has a book just on making vegan cheese if you haven’t seen it. She also has two other vegan books that are great.
Thank you for the videos! Trying to transition to plant based cooking and your videos give EASY and tasty recipes. The video quality/ content production/ whatever you called the total product is also excellent and just light and fun!
I tried the white potato dressing and it was fantastic! I used it to make a pasta salad with cucumbers, green onions, and sunflower seeds. Definitely a keeper. Thanks so much!
I love these swaps! The only extra swap I'd add is coconut aminos for light soy sauce (there's a taste difference, so you might not want to all in, but even half is significant). Coconut aminos have 1/4 the sodium of light soy sauce, so if that's part of your health makeover, it's a pretty painless and really helpful.
This was refreshing and loved some of the surprise health tips. MY only "no" is storing food in plastic....the salad dressing. I am on the crusade to try to limit the use of plastic as much as we can. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Ali, great videos! Do you have any big family weekly meal prep videos / advice you can direct me to? I have 5 kids and having a super hard time keeping up with plant based for a big family but I see you do it so it’s encouraging!! I need like when and how to prep and how much etc. Also a lot of plant based meals are hit and miss (a lot of times it just doesn’t appeal, textures are mushy in instant pot etc). What’s tried and true, kid friendly, easy go tos for you and how do you prep in advance so it’s not time intensive?? Thanks and super sorry for the random rambling. I’m burnt out! 🤪

Stick with it! I promise it gets easier over time. And remember you will always have a kid that doesn’t want to eat a new recipe no matter what you cook! 😂😜
I always use fresh or frozen fruit if possible to get maximum nutrition. The heat in canning, bottling and pasteurization will denature enzymes in the fruit. Canned fruit often has added sugar which I try to avoid.
Appreciate the recipes. I almost gave up on subscription as “no recipe no watch”. Big thank you I’m going to try omelette & dressing. Oh those crisps, yummy ❤
The best way to stay vegan is to educate yourself. Watch all the documentaries. You want to have a why. Put your why on a post it if you need to and place it somewhere you will see it every day.
Great tips that I look forward to trying. May I make one suggestion? Please consider removing the repetitive and distracting background music. It serves as a distraction from your commentary, and I'd rather hear the latter. Thanks for considering!
I had your oatmeal hack this morning with frozen raspberries from last years crop. So so good. I would never have thought to add frozen cauliflower but it was great. Tomorrow I’ll make it with wild blueberries.
Hi. Btw, ur prev vid w ur Dad - he was the sweetest. My favorite and rare type of people. So sorry for ur loss hun. I lost Dad recently, life is tough. Even tho i see again w Jesus ❤ 😢
Can't believe my eyes that you just put the sweet potato and potato just like that in the microwave. You really look good not necessarily to loose weight
Please!!!!!Ditch the music!! So distracting. Almost all RUclipsrs add music and all I can think is "Do these people not think their content is good enough for viewers to watch"? Music is SUPER distracting and impaired my capacity to focus on your content. (WHICH is great, by the way)
This young lady is the best realistic vegan hacks yet. Thank you so much. I just love this.

Ahhhhh I forgot to add the PB2 swap! Thats such a good one! I’m so glad you brought it up! And I need to try the apple sauce swap!
@@plantwhys absolutely different flavor profile, but still tasty!

Avocados also makes the most amazing pudding! Some cocoa and sugar, blend it all up, and it's just fantastic.
Love these hacks! Just found your channel tonight 🙂 I've been a vegan for 2 months and going strong! Thank you for the added help❤😊
Love the pun at the end!!! Thanks for the inspiration you provide. I enjoy and learn from you so much!!!
I'm SO excited about the white potato dressing!

Love the potato dressings.0
They are really yummy!
Appreciate the recipes. I almost gave up on subscription as “no recipe no watch”. Big thank you I’m going to try omelette & dressing. Oh those crisps, yummy ❤

You got this! I hear you! I’m all about helping during that transition period. It can be rough!
Great ideas and not just for weight loss. The ACV doesn't make the popcorn soggy?

I’ll let my editor know!

That’s so awesome! I’m really glad you liked it!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the substitution idea for coconut milk! I love coconut milk but have to avoid saturated fat. So thank you again!
You bet! Buy coconut extract! It’s such a great tool to get that coconut flavor without the fat. And soy milk is still really creamy!
So original! Love these hacks!
Yay! Thank you!! 💕
Thank you for this! These are amazing!!! I will use them.
Yay! I’m so glad!

Vous avez raison vos recettes sont bluffantes ! je vais commencer par l'omelette de pois chiche... bon appétit à tous !
I love your tips. Please use organic pop corn : Corn is heavily sprayed with glyphosate
These are inspiring ideas, thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! Thanks for being here. 💕
❤ amazing ❤ good healthy recipe 😋
Thank you!
thank you! Really great ideas!!
You are so welcome!🤗
I add frozen riced cauliflower to smoothies for an additional veggie serving. Now I’ll try it with oatmeal in the morning.
That’s such a great idea too!
Some nice hacks
I made brownies with avocado, they were yummy
Great Video! Wonderful tips!
So Informative!! Thank You!
Great video & lovely looking food :) Just got me wondering why Americans say half a cup, but also forth a cup and not quarter?!!
😂😂😂 I’ve never thought about that!
Great hacks.
If i wanted to swap out the sugar in the avocado cookies with pure maple syrup...what amount would be equivalent?
Looking forward to your videos!
Omg! Love it ❤❤❤❤
I wouldn’t make that juice for later, it would be all oxidized. Green juice needs to be drunk soon after blended.
Could the chickpea omelette be made in the oven?
Yeah probably!
Can't believe my eyes that you just put the sweet potato and potato just like that in the microwave.
You really look good not necessarily to loose weight
Cooking potatoes in the microwave is my favorite way to cook them! Especially when it is just one or two!
❤❤❤
The fat in coconut will raise cholesterol. Not reccommended for diabetics.
your NY is yellowish and mine is pale...?
❤❤❤

Could I simply eliminate the tahini in the dressings? I don’t do nuts.
Yes, totally!
@@plantwhys , great, thanks!
Tahini is sesame seeds... no nuts
@@lindastangelo1636, you’re right. I always think of Tahini as a nut butter. I abhor peanut butter and almond butter, and to me, Tahini is similar.
I bet you didn't know that the top of your air popper is where you put the kernels rather than shove your whole wrist up the chute
The salt will kill you!
Nothing new here you just stole other peoples recipes 🤔
