In this video we will explain how to turn traction control light or 4x4 light on BMW after dead battery or after battery replacement. We demonstrated on a BMW e90 but it should work on other BMWs such as e60, e61, e92, e91, e53, e83 and more.

I just fix the transfer case and light was still on.....also the ESL was replace..and light was still on..... try what u just did....and it work...it really work....thank u so much...great video.

Thank you so much brother!!!!! I disconnected my battery and when I connected the battery back up the 4x4 light came on. I did exactly what you said and the light went off.

I replaced my MAP sensor and disconnected the battery to reset the light. Turning the wheel like you said turned my light if because my traction lights turned on when I reconnected the battery. I watch all your videos to replace my parts. You taught my how to replace my coolant reservoir tank, how to do my oil changes, the map sensor, how to disconnect my battery and reconnect it. I freaking love you guys and as a woman I just love that I can repair my own car! You’re amazing thank you so much. But now my service engine soon light is still on after replacing the MAP sensor and disconnecting the battery and it just won’t go off 🤦🏻♀️ why? Any advice?

I got a 328xi 2007 ,replaced the crankshaft position sensor,transfer case motor and battery and im still have the 4×4loght on brake service engine and now is draining my battery could it be the alternater???
After dead battery an replaced for a new one my X5 has this issue but I did exactly what you say and...bingo..is fix........thank you
Dam really worked car died on me left it for a few hours came back it recharged itself but the 4by4 light was still on did everything and boom car was fine thank you 😊

Thanks. My x5 e70 displays theat sign and often refuses to start the first or even the second time. It also slows down when driving and then the engine turns off. Help pls.

That was soooo easy, I put a new battery in car and got code and 4x4 ligts and so on, all turned on. I was starting to price out a new transfer case and all that goes with that. But now no worry, thanks 3k parts NOT...:-)
I have a 2007 X3 and when I start the car I have no lights I start to drive and the front brake surges and then I get a brake and 4X4 light. After that it works fine but I still have a brake and 4x4 light until I shut the engine down. thoughts?

I have a 08 535xi, when I first start the car no lights on, drive and the 30 seconds into the drive, the brake, 4x4 , lights come on then the dcs malfunction comes up. I tried the steps from the videos but nothing is working.

I have a 2000 z 3 with no power, after jump starting the triangle warning light came on, I shut off the car and now no power at all. Disconnected the battery and then reconnected, turned the key one time, now no power? Any help would be appreciated. thank you!

OK, thanks for that video. I had a dead battery! Now I have another issue I was sitting in the car I have a 2006X5 that my wife drives. When the vehicle is turned off, I noticed the park indicator shifter indicator light stays on, I played with the shifter and if I hold it back it turns off can you help me out with that!

My battery went dead and had to be replaced. New battery. 4x4 light stays on my 2004 BMW X5. Tried following your video over last month and still on. No other service lights on car. Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.
Car died after getting battery replaced. Car indicated chassis malfunction and shutoff twice in tow different time spans. Third time the car shut all the way off now I have no power at all. What could this problem be?

I changed the battery on my key fob but it will not lock nor unlock my car.
It will start it.
My second fob works fine.
I had to cut the fob open I've inspected it and as far as I can see I didn't damage it while cutting it open.
2010 328i N52 E90 4 door.
I Have a 2007 x5 3.0si traction control light and 4x4 light are on I replace shift actuator and steering sensor no change what could it be also had new battery installed and registered any help

Hey guys love your videos it has helped me alot thank you for your videos. I have an 08 X5 was driving it and 4x4 light came on A/C turned off and radio and rhen the car shut down. I checked the battery and it was dead I replaced it with a new battery and every now and then it does it again and I have to jump it and starts again and runs fine then it would do it again. I hooked a multimeter to the battery it shows its charging. While it is running I unhooked rhe negative pole from the battery the car stays running fine... but it still dies please can u help me

Points to be noted
1- Car Starts On Neutral But Doesn't Starts On Parking
2- Car Is Having Brake Yellow Light And Traction Control Light In Dashboard
3- After Turning The Car Of For 1-2 Hours The Car Doesn't Starts, But If Giving It A Jump Start, The Car Starts On Neutral.
But doesn't starts with the button but after starting and driving it for few kilometers the car starts with the button!

Thank you for all your videos. I have a 2004 BMW X3 that makes a continuous clicking sound when shutting down. It makes a short clicking sound from the back first followed by the continuos clicking sound possibly from the front. It lasts about 5 seconds but I know it’s not normal. The 4X4 light (not the 3 lights) sometimes goes on and won’t shut off. Please help.

Hi guys.. I just bought a used 2005 BMW 3x 3.0i . I really need some help here.the person that sold it to me said it was fine strong ruunung engine (apparently replaced).. Ugh!..as soon as I bought it, never owned a bmw., the dash lights started coming on..abs, exclamation point, service engine soon, and now the "airbag off" is on...please!! Someone help me????
