It’s mind blowing that anyone can play this much less from memory.
8:39 has to be one of the best music ever written for marimba
You probably haven't listened to many marimba songs. 8:39 is nothing compared to Ilijas on marimba
2 completely different works.
@@cozorio100 he said "best piece written for marimba. Thus, I counteracted his statement.
It is a very "Maslanka-esque" musical idea to have a big melody on top of a pulsating bass line. If you listen to Maslanka's work for band or percussion ensemble, you will hear this sort of musical style all over.
Here from tiktok. thaaaat is absolutely incredible
do you remember whos video it was? i cant find it
The Etheral part in 12:07, damn...
What an incredibly performance. Bravo!
It's a pure talent to play that fast and that gently
So awesome to see my friend featured on here!
Wonderful composition!
Vic Firth, what mics are being used in your solo marimba videos?
Idk either
Excellent job!
Am I correct in saying this was written for 4.3 Octave Marimba?
yep!
Magnifique
REALLY? AN AD IN THE MIDDLE OF MASLANKA??? DISGRACEFUL
I agree. Who makes these poor decisions to interrupt a wonderful performance with an ad? Very disappointing.
So annoying every time
Great piece. But I have to say, the ending is just awkward.
Audio sucks :(
