Really like how the remake kinda gives us a good look at the creature but it was kinda more ominous in the original making us picture what it looked like
The original is actually done better in my opinion here. (The optional scene)

To be honest with you no matter how great a remake looks in the scene with better graphics fans still going to think that the original is better
@@jenn5628 I don't really agree with that. I'm already pretty convinced the reimagining is better in a lot of areas. But, some of the setups and execution of scenes (like in this case) were definitely done better in the original. Take the first El Gigante fight too for instance. The setup in the original is amazing with all the villagers containing it with chains then it goes off killing every single one of them. That scene was intense. It was legendary. In the remake... it's not quite that... (no spoilers if you haven't seen it).
@@TheCurlKing yeah cuz I literally got backlash when I said that some scenes in the remake look better than the original. For instance, RE2. I love RE2 original, but it was scenes in the remake I think was better. I didn't get to the El Gigante scene yet, but the part where Leon enters the first Ganado scene I think it was way better. I know some fan who claims he beat the Remake already said that all the scenes in a remake or not better in the original and I said come on it have to be one scene that's better but if he feel that way then that's his opinion
@@jenn5628 You got a point there... people really do be like that. It's honestly weird. It's like some strange elitist/loyalist complex where they can't accept that change and graphical improvements can genuinely make for a better game experience... 🙄

Personally I think this fight would have been scarier if they showed Del Lago swimming below the boat from a top camera view and if they had the gray-ish gloomy and foggy atmosphere of chapter 1.
When I approached the lake in the lakeside settlement, I got spooked just looking at the lake, the brighter and more colorful atmosphere of the chapter where the actual fight takes place takes away the atmosphere even if it's more intense than the og because of how much more mobile Del Lago is this time
The jumpscare from shooting the lake feels a lot more lacking in the remake, the original was so sudden, the remake moves the camera and plays a mini cutscene, that really kills the vibe and makes the jumpscare predictable

Why don't they just make it same like original with great sharp graphics with just two three touch up the angle,scene and many ways the original is better👍

@@TheTurquoiseAlien No transparent water, no getting dragged off the boat, no tense chase as you swim back to your boat, even the weather's been changed. Several key differences that weren't necessarily for the better. You don't have to like it, but it's definitely different.
the no QTE's was probably it's biggest letdown. That no eerie music when it turns night ... the small things.
and not too big of fan of him collapsing in the boat leaving him exposed and in the open as this likely would've led to another capture more severe punishment and expedition of the parasite ... he would've been given boosters in original game! ☺️hahaha 😂😅

Hey guys I'm still looking for an emblem. You know the statue with the 2 hands, if you use 2 objects you get the emblem for the church. I already have the severed head, but where is the other emblem?
Hey bro, follow your map to the two locations for them. Should be a little puzzle for both locations to open the door, you look around the area for the yellow symbols to put in the circular part for the right ones
I think remake has the challenge beating del gado without missing a harpoons which is annoyed me so much
I love how the remake gives the sky a pinkish purple color. I never cared for that gloomy sky in the original

i could see that they made it a realistic approach by removing some absurd stuff (you will realize how bizarre the qte's in the original is lol)

Agree - the OG's washed out colours are far creepier
Og's color palette is ugly af, I'd take a colorful game over a game trying way too hard to be realistic by adding ten million layers of gray and brown
@@fraeh3398 Did you see it by yourself? During the dawn and fight with the monster blue color is oversaturated and later blue and yellow. Just add a celshaded graphx and you are watching a cartoon🙄
In the remake I just noticed when they throw an officer in the water his head is gone they chopped it off WOW 👀👀👀👀💀
