I have schizoaffective disorder and can relate to some of this. It was honestly nice seeing something that is usually seen as such a threat turned into something funny. Not sure if that last part made sense but this video made me feel better about suffering from it

*Friends* wasn't cancelled. That implies that the show was doing badly and the network decided to pull the plug. In reality, *Friends* was the #4 show in its tenth and final season. No way would a show with those ratings be cancelled. The fact is, the stars (and most everyone involved) wanted to move on. The show could have continued indefinitely until its popularity waned, but no one was interested.
I can't believe they got away with this back then. I remember they banned Lari White's "Wild at Heart" music video because it took place in a state hospital and it got angry letters from the mental health association.
That's political correctness for ya. Always ruining the best things about popular American culture by a bunch of uptight "morally righteous" bastards. Man, I hate this current era.
