Looks great, thank you for the tutorial. I've been looking into tackling a few projects reupholstering boat parts and patio furniture.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
Just bought a jet boat that needs some cushions recovered. Wish me luck!
Anyone know what the bolts on the back of the side panel are called? I need to replace them on my side panels due to corrosion.
What I use is 1/4 "T nut". Drill a hole in your wood, tap the t nut into the hole, thread your bolt through. Might sound confusing but it's really simple. I'm sure there's videos of them on RUclips.
Why don’t you guys trace the old patterns to make it easier to make new pattens?
The mold always starts from the inside of the cushions.
I got one quote for $5,000 and another quote for $13,000 for my Yamaha 242 jet boat. Hopefully I can do the replacement myself.
I hit my sewfoam with a steamer and really took out the wrinkles
Great idea! I have not tired to do that. Excellent tip!!! Thanks!!!!!!!
Great video except I can’t believe you used that moldy, nasty looking foam.. If people are that broke, they can’t afford to go to the lake anyway.
