Hello. Greetings from Spain. What are your favorite books to work on the piano technique for 9-year-old students? Congratulations on the RUclips channel.

Manuel, I think a teacher would be the best path if that is possible for you. There are many books but at 9 live help, whether in person or say on Skype would lead to the most direct path to success, in my humble opinion. I’m not a teacher but a student with a teacher.🤝

Hey Allysia. Since I can't pay because of my circumstance for the piano course, what free resources do you have for me that I can use for practicing reading sheet music.

Unfortunately participating in any forums is not for me. This is the biggest problem with some courses (Pianote as well) - they assume that people will enjoy talking and exchanging information, and sharing their progress. I do get it though why it is promoted and why some like it so much

No method fits all students, so there are different ways to learn piano playing, e.g. individual lessons by a piano teacher, piano apps or what I did, self-taught learning with method books. It is a question of preferences and goals. On your own you will hardly progress quickly and at the end unsually won't reach more than an early to intermediate advanced level of playing. For a start self-taught learning works way better if there is advanced knowledge and experience due to a musical education on other instruments.

it seems to me tht todays ppl are just lightyears away from even try to learn those advanced pieces from 18th 19 th century....and we think we have evolved since then, au contrary lol, its laughable , its only the elite pianists of today, and of course the 'amateurs' close to being professionals tht can play the more advanced stuff from way back then....ppl today sucks big time, WHEN served some lame pop-cultural song from say adele, theyre smilin, but as soon someone throws a alamande from bachs french suites at them, they shy away in fear and disbelief, wht is tht....oh no,....toooo difficult for me buhuhuhu......evolution, nope i dont think so...degeneracy, OH YESS!!
