I have been a history professor for 25 years, I tell my students the first day of class "if you memorize any dates I will be upset with you" History should be about telling the amazing stories of the past in a fun way. I love it! If anyone wants, I have shared all my lectures as a free resource to help homeschoolers. You can find them all on my channel. And most recently I started to create some unit studies to go along with them!

Your Who Was Unit Studies have changed our homeschool history so much. Definitely worth the money and my kids ask to do history!

I so love your videos and all the recommendations! I like to make school fun when I can. When I'm winding down I like to cozy up and watch your videos, such a treat!

Minecraft History Builds and historical read alouds. We use Curiosity Chronicles which includes a Minecraft project for every chapter. There are also a lot of hands on activities and recipes so sometimes we do those, but honestly for my kids it's the Minecraft.

We are obsessed with your unit studies but the Who was and What was series seem to really be some of my kids favorites. Even my mom and husband get involved. We're all learning.

Interview people that lived through different moments in history! That was always impactful to me. My father used to work with some WW2 vets and their stories were vastly different but it was interesting to hear them just the same.

Do you know if there are any boxed sets available somewhere of the Who Was and What Was books?

Does your kiddo need to be able to read to play?

This is such a fun topic! I absolutely love history! I would love to join your playlist, but can't seem to get the link to work correctly, so I will leave my link here and hopefully it will eventually make its way onto the list (I tried to leave a comment on Abby's video as well, but for some reason RUclips keeps deleting it 😬) ruclips.net/video/iPxb5qrlfUY/видео.html
