    Their Is one type of person that you have NOT addressed..THE NARCISISTIC PERSON. .that you CANNOT show LOVE..bc It takes advantage of. his/her partner..& i think you should talk about It ..with helping indications..bc. we are full of these people..

      That's exactly the situation with me was. 20 years I poured my heart to loving my husband. It was never ever ever enough. NEVER ENOUGH! I eventually died on the inside and I totally gave up...

    • @autumn4115
      @autumn4115 Год назад +4

      @@QuiteTheLady I didn't know about narcissism until this year. But I poured my heart and all I had to my husband of 20 years and it was never enough. At one point we attended a session at church where we learned about love languages and for a while (a couple of months) it seemed like it was working. And of course he started pulling away and degrading me. When I told him he was draining the love tank and adding nothing in, he raged and told me the love language concept is garbage and that by the way he attended the session because I dragged him there. What do you do with a person like that?

    Seeing this topic makes me cringe. I loved my husband for 20 years, but it was just never ever ever enough. I always did something wrong even if I did everything he told me. The goal post was always moving until I totally gave up

      Yeah, this doesn't work for marriages where there is a mental illness substance abuse. I think her points are valid for most other circumstances, but those things are more prevalent than most Christian acknowledges.

      I'd take a time out to pray and fast to hear from the Lord. Can u get away for a few days? This is no way to live. Bad for your health in every aspect. He doesn't sound like a true Christian. Get FOTF resources and a Godly counselor.
