Been playing this great game recently, I'll just add my thoughts and tips :) 1:26 Just bring one anyway. Perfect weapon for when you've pulled a room and then waiting behind a corner. And you can use two of them without penalty. Just triple shoot one and then the other, alternatingly, they're devastating at point blank range which is why I like having two of those and one of the standard ones for longer range engagements. 1:36 Don't shoot too quickly. The recharge time expands the emptier it gets. It's a patience weapon. But I still prefer the other one as well. 3:10 If anyone is wondering why it's blocked, I heard you have to die 3 times for it to open up. 5:02 I tried... the drones aare the real $#!+ there, especially the pink ones. And probably those shielded headcrab style robots. 5:08 It isn't. It's not that much more enemies, and you deal more damage which also counts for bosses which makes those easier to defeat. I kinda find myself taking this quite often and it's the one I got the farthest with. 5:48 Lucky run getting the BSG that early! Love that thing. Those pellet home in on targets after bouncing off BTW so use that for longer range engagements. Just shoot the floor in the general direction and watch. 6:06 This is the reason why you always should have one. Pro tip though: Don't bring the blue pistols to the next level, you can get them in any level again. Play around with all the other weapons and leave those you don't need currently near the elevator. And you'll also only get ammo for weapons you carry. 8:22 Absolutely vital! Know where you can go back to. Especially when there's a boss which will be shown by a red circle on the map even before you enter that room. Clear up the others first to get room for tactical retreats! 9:15 Watch out for the pink ones in later stages of the game! They shoot rapidly. And give the green ones, which will try to explode near you a special treatment. Be patient, let them come close. They'll start spinning, just run away when they do that. They will stay in place and you got enough time to get away. I can happen that they'll blow up their buddies that way as well, so just use them like that. 11:21 I guess that's what I described above... just bring the special stuff and leave the emergency guns, you'll get new ones anyway. 11:36 "You may wanna use this weapon, because it doesn't run a amm" :D 14:15 SB Atomic: keeps emptying his guns Stalker, somewhere next door: "No hostiles detected" XD
I see. I drank the booze in the beginning and had unintentionally have been playing on hard. Great coverage of tips! Thanks for sharing! This game seems unplayable with the controller teleport option (which is the way I prefer to play games). But it's hard to dodge enemies with teleport. I wish the teleport option slowed down or paused time because it takes a while to use it.
@@sbatomic1210 Exactly. In other words: Git Gud. The fun lies in getting better each try and working out tactics that make you survive. And don't rush it. Try pulling enemies and prepare a nice surpise for them around the corner, or keep fighting at long distance if possible (Sales and Reception levels are great for that).
@@CakePrincessCelestiaexactly. Today I finally got to level 8 but then the stupid Hitler lookin guy from the cover of the game kicked the shit out of me. Also I did that with dual pistols only, no special weapons because I didn’t want to worry about ammo, but now I’m learning how to use special weapons better, essentially reloading faster. You need special weapons in order to defeat the boss guy that looks like Hitler. Part of why I love this game so much is because it’s like Wolfenstein 3D or Doom but in VR so that’s probably why I think of the boss guy as Hitler lmao. But this is my favorite game on my VR headset so far, it’s so awesome.
Press the menu button on the left controller, and the game's menu will appear in front of you ... then scroll down and select the exit or quit option to close the game .. took me a while to figure out too
Great starter guide!

That is interesting I never even used the teleport - do you get motion sickness?
How the hell do i access the settings page i would like to change the controls
Go down the stairs to the practice area. Take a weapon and look at your arm. On the top, you'll find the options
Am I able to change the type of movement if I made a mistake
How do I unlock mutations
readyvrone.com/vr-gaming/compound-vr-guide/
The extra arms is good to learn but... The game was meant to be played by letting go of one weapon to reload the other.
When I die on the 3rd or 4th level I start at level one. How can I start at same level I died on?
That is working as designed .. I believe this is kind of a roguelite

@@sbatomic1210 lol thanks but I can't figure out how to scroll, using a valve index so it must be different
