Cables make a HUGE difference. Why invest in great gear and cheap out on the single thing that transports the signal from that gear to your ear. A simple A/B test with various cables will clearly demonstrate the difference between a quality cable and a substandard cable. Another smaller brand to check out is Rattlesnake. Sounds like a great idea. After becoming a Professional Musician, I switched to Wireless. But it is always good have a guitar cable just in case.
