I think it will be good investing I know some people are saying it’s like the 501st battle pack but they will be pretty darn hard to find like for example right now in the USA.
Collectors and investors are both problems for normal people who just want one to play with. Collectors are hoarders who horde cool stuff, investors are hoarders who sell their cool stuff which is better imo because they are least refill the market somewhat. Guys who just want 100 of each set to have on a shelf are just causing problems for no reason.
Collectors can be just as bad at times during the may the 4th sale it sold out before I could buy one and I do know that a lot of non collectors/resellers bought it but I bet a decent amount of the people buying it were collectors or resellers buying it for cheap so they could resell it later
I don’t think so, many people as said in the video will be buying this set with the intention/thought on making a huge profit. Which will make the Cody figure less rare + LEGO will probably throw him in another set like a wheelbike for example
Right yeah, if people are saying it’s gonna be valuable, bc as soon as it’s really hard to find bc everyone’s bought them all/retires every person who bought 2-3 will put it up at inflated prices JUST BECAUSE, the 501st will do the same after retirement, but the funniest part to me is that I bet you they’ll put Cody in a cheaper set just to put a finger to the investors lol
Rex has been included in multiple sets and he’s worth $200 plus….. I have 10 of the 2022 atte sets. They will be worth hundreds. Just like the ucs at ats I have the general veers/ snow trooper commander are exclusive to that set.
Would have preferred if the clonetroopers were based off the live action movies rather than the cartoony Clone Wars animated look, unfortunately it looks lego is using the animated Clone Wars prints for ALL clonetroopers for LA AND CW sets, which is honestly such a terrible decision. The print quality is pretty poor too. the orange on the helmets don't end in a point on the forehead, and there should be orange dots around the circles on the backs of the 212th troopers. If they stuck with the superior 2014 print design, I would defiantly pick this up, but unfortunately we are still stuck with a Clone Wars animated Commander Cody and it's a huge turnoff
@@Unhinged_Bricks True. Personally it's not as big of a deal as the printing on the clonetroopers, since you could simply build a crab droid. You can't change then printing on the clones. Still would have been nice to finally get a offical crab droid build though.
In short, no. Do not invest in lego. You will be laughed at. Never buy sets on the basis of it being expensive in the future. Just see it as a lucky break if a set is worth more later on.
I have to respectfully disagree. Yes if you just blindly invest in any LEGO set you could very well lose money. However, if you do the research and developed an eye for it you can definitely make money investing in LEGO.
I get what you mean, however i have to disagree, i've been investing in LEGO for about a decade at this point, and almost every sale i made managed to gather a profit, albeit some sets and minifigs do appreciate more rapidly than others and tend to grasp more value, once you developed an eye for potential sets to invest in and an idea of the market demand you are able to make significant profits on your investments.
Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it won’t be valuable after retirement. I believe even if this sells lien hotcakes there will be some that will wait and wait until it’s to late
True. But think about it this way. Once this set retirers new people getting into Star Wars LEGO will most likely want to buy it. Since they never got a chance to. I only see the popularity of this set as a problem in the short term of retirement. But with LEGO investment who really knows.
@@KronoX01 It could be. However, it is a far more expensive set than the 501'st battle pack. Meaning a fewer number of people are likely to pick it up. Still, I do agree that the popularity of this set could slow its growth 1-2 years into retirement.
I think it will be good investing I know some people are saying it’s like the 501st battle pack but they will be pretty darn hard to find like for example right now in the USA.
I get annoyed when investor’s buy the majority of kits, and there are non left for collector’s
I can get that

this took like 4 months to get in stores. This was one of the wildest ever. memories
I have 3 sealed and I'll keep it there. Even with the fig printing Issues this will be an EXPPENSIVE set a few years post retirement.

@@will00709 you ballin my pockets was hurtin after that purchase
Def buying., Just bcs i love It xD
Me too!
I mean, the Cody figure is going to be worth as much, if not, maybe more than Captain Rex.

@@luukjacobs2422 With LEGO anything is possible. Image if LEGO put Cody in a battle pack. I think there would be riots at LEGO stores lol
It's possible. But I think it would take many years.
Depends if they put him in a battle pack down the line
Just bought some for an average of 78.80 bucks each plus GWPs
How do you only have 600 subscribers this is a Hidden jem
Thank you so much for the kind words! Now I have 700 subscribers lol

I mention in the video that LEGO putting Cody in a cheaper set is a strong possibility. This set definitely comes with a good amount of risk

I would

I just copped one for 70 dollars at walmart.. WALMART.
Got two for 195 euros that's equal to around 195 dollars from amazon I couldn't resist haha, still guess that price is definitely worth it
Well I just picked this up on ebay for 84 dollars and 12 dollar shipping
Yes.
I cant afford this and i hate peoples who is flexing with their collection
I've bought 2 of em already
100% invest, it’ll be worth $260+ within 2 years of its retirement I guarantee it.
Definitely a possibility

Someone should remember the 2016 AT-TE it’s still an AT-TE

I got free shipping lol
SWEAT!
I think everyone is going to invest in this like the 501st

Edit: it’s better I guess to do this because it’s out.
Y'all are embarassing as hell
Ok Larry
