I love harddance events and raves in general because the crowd is there mainly to dance while actually giving space to, taking care of, and respecting each other. It's awesome to just go wild and dance like a weirdo in a space where no one judges you. Kinda similar to metal audiences in a weird way, especially the dominator/black hardcore gabber crowd, there's a lot of overlap.

It pretty much had to. I remember doing something simular at a metal concert in 1998 in Holland. We were jumping all together also was measured km's away.
So I am a dutch guy. I have only been to 2 festivals (going to at leest 13 more big ones this year) and i have already met People from 15 different countries and 2 different continents. Its amazing how People outside the country love this too, which is why i find it weird that we still have more of these festivals and raves with these dj's in half a month than the rest of the world in a year. Really hope it's gonna spread soon. Love you guys🎉
Imagine trying to bring your friends much needed drinks in a tray, and than this happens. It looks great on camera but this used to scare young me with a tray of drinks during festivals XD. After a while i memorized all the songs that include this so as soon as i heared a specific beat i would make sure to exit the crowd and wait before going back in and searching for my friends.
My parents always loved doing this whenever they were at a birthday party with any of their friends (they all love this). They were always dancing like this and I was always off to the side waiting for them to stop jumping around so I could safely get to my mom without being stomped on

I was there that year, the Swedish flag in the middle, take some meters to the left. that's where i stood with my group, 2 girls in our group fell during the "left right" part, and almost got trampled by the crowd... we managed to block them off with 4 people.
i remember going to gerlos ski resort in austria with a dutch colleague from work. they put this on in an apres ski nightclub we were in. this has brought it all rushing back.

We Dutch generally have a above average undertanding of English so usually we prefer commenting in english on the internet since it's mostly the chosen language for most sites. Don't be surprised if this comment section is about 90% Dutch.
