Great upcycling tips as always! This past summer i recycled a dress I made about 45 years ago into a top. I probably kept the dress because I loved the fabric so much. Now it's a pretty top which I will wear for hopefully many more years. And I get so many compliments.
Really great vid showing before and afters. I upcycle my memades as palate cleansers between my new makes...no cost, no loss and i can really get creative without fear of ruining fabric. In fact, i probably enjoy the upcycles more than the memades bc no faffin about with pattern tracing (altho i will sometimes trace a piece of clothing i already have onto wrapping paper to hack a memade).
Wow! You’re so resourceful….and I tend to throw items I don’t wear to the back of my mind cos I hate reworking but I really should take a leaf from your book … and I will! Thank you
