Thank you that was useful and helped me adding games. My game stick version has a download folder where you can add new games which is easier. The only problem i faced was with CTR ( crash team racing ) the game starts but its stuck at licensing with a black screen. I tried several CTR versions and all does the same. Is there anything else to do?
Do other games work?
I added crash bandicoot 2, 3, crash bash and WWF smack down and they all works fine. Except for CTR it gets stuck at the licensing page
@hasanrhaim1455 It might be an issue with the version. Try the US version or EU version.
Already tried both versions and another lite version called prototype and they all did the same thing. I think this is related to the version of the game stick itself because i tried to run the .iso files on a windows 10 pc using retroarch emulator and they all worked fine. I think the game stick i bought is an older version that might be missing some sort of files that bypass the licensing step with the game and allows it to run

What do I do when there is more than one .bin file for a game?
The picture quality of all the games is very even in the PS1 emulator, can we setup the resolution, or set the quality?

Try with isobuster first. And if it doesn’t work try to convert the files into “chd” format using chdman, then convert the chd file to “iso” format.

@@hmet21 no it does not and the stick its not the upgrade version also it doenst got ventilation holes in the plastic case
And you got a lot of delay playing in 2 players mode and im some games

The game stick keeps the saves in
etroarch\saves\ but it doesn't seem to load it proberly. i think it's an issue that needs to be fixed by the developer.
@@Fixess ahh ok thanks. Yah because sometimes Mario loads and saves but as long as it's on and not restarted. When a new game opens or it's restarted it disappears. I was like ok weird lol.

I don’t have access to a Mac machine at the moment sorry. You can run Windows inside Mac. You can do it that way.

All i did was download a rom from a site extract it using 7zipper then moved the .bin .gba etc file to the download folder on the micro sd and was able to pull it from the download section of the actual gamestick
I will try your method. Bcoz earlier, I moved a Castlevania sotn to the ps1 folder. But I can't find it in the emulator or search option of the stick

Try to run the game on your PC and see if it has any sound problems. It might be your settings.

@@paranoidgenius9164 if only it had a decent game library... it does not have Gran Turismo, wich was an exclusive, produced by Sony AND just happens to be the console's best selling game! That is the solely reason it was a complete failure.

Hello, did exactly what you do to modify playlist with the exact same game and all I get is loading then black screen and it won’t start…When I reset the pl file everything works but I cant put games to play… what’s going on??
Are you sure you’re using the same game stick as in the video? If so, try to repeat the steps carefully and make sure you don’t have any duplicates in the playlist file or special characters when you add.
I have a similar game stick that also includes a download section in main menu.I cant find any way to put games in.I tried everything

I've done the exact same thing as in the video, but when I put it back it didn't start, Only "loading" then black screen.
When I undo the modifying of the playlist file, It's open but no games added.
Make sure you don’t have any duplicates in the playlist file. Make sure the entry is completely unique and no spaces or special characters

And now when I delete the game and any modifications in the ps1 file in the playlist folder, Still the loading screen and then black screen.

Not sure what happened on your end but i think you just need to remember the changes you’ve made and roll them back. If the issue persists try to download the games and reflash them on the SD card. Speak to the seller to get the files or try to google, youtube them. Regards
Do you have a “Downloads” folder on your SD card? Try to put the .bin file directly into it without modifying the playlist file.

The game stick keeps the saves in
etroarch\saves\ but it doesn't seem to load it proberly. you can try to save the gane State as a work around. to save the game State press Select + Start at the same time and chose Save State. hope that helps.

I don't think there's a way to save ps games on the game stick. But I'll let you know if I find a way to save the games.

You’ll need to download the games and reflash it on the SD card again. You can find the files on google or youtube.

That was just a random number to make it different from the other one. Feel free to add or remove numbers as you wish.

Your game stick might be using database to save the game data. If you navigate to ROOT/games/games.db you can try to edit the database using “sqlite database browser” software to add the games to the list.
Unfortunately I don’t have access to a Game stick with the database version to help you further with the steps. But I’m sure a quick google or youtube search would help you out.
I have the same problem, there is no games.db data on it. It's frustrating. Only so called 'res' folder with data you can't open. Why is it so complicated in our case 😅

Try to look for a “Downloads” folder and put the game files into there. Or search for “games.db” file and edit it using sqlite but be careful with it try to make a copy of it first for safety.

I plugged my card into my laptop and a message said device is ready. It dont show up so I went into device and printers and found it but says must format the card to use it and can't do that or I lose everything.

I've tried 3 different computers and all 3 wouldn't read the game stick sd card. So there no way I can add games to mine 😢

I've tried that but it won't let me copy the files into my computer folder unless I pay for the full version of diskgenius. Is there a free way to do this
You should be able to do that using the free version. Make sure you install Disk Genius Free Edition.

I think you’re talking about rebuilding the game stick file system.
Search the youtube for “Y3 Lite - How to create system file?” To find the solution.
Just make sure it’s the same game stick.
