    I hope the Unions will always be at the Heart of the Labour Party, the Rightwingers whine on about it but they don't have any Problems with the vast amount of wealth and influence pouring into the Tory Party and has done ever since it was formed. We need Men like Mick Lynch to stand up to the Right it's Media and hold them to Account.

    There are much better people suited to run this country than most of those who stand as MP's and Mick Lynch is top of that list. Why does the British public not choose who they want as their MP's and political party to form a government filled with all of those much better people like Mick Lynch, Carol Vorderman, Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnel, Zarah Sultana, and many more. Most who put their selves forward to stand as MP's do it for personal gains, or to help corporations, the ones who want to improve the lives of the British public never get in to the position to do so or they have been converted by the promise of personal gains. Is there anyone who bel;ieves that Johnson, Cameron, Sunak, or Starmer signed up to a political career to improve anyones life other than their own and those who provided the improvements for each of them.

    • @starwarsnerd95
      @starwarsnerd95 7 часов назад +2

      Because if it worked that way we would end up with a dysfunctional government which could never align on issues and would have a very difficult time organising themselves.
      Also certain public figures need to preserve their public images and that is more valueable for political discourse in some occasions than direct power. Vordeman and mick lynch have both said they have no interest in running for office because theor current roles are equally if not more important.

It just a matter of time before Mick gets honest with his union members, changes his tune, and re-engages in adversarial combat with the establishment government du jour.
